قب، المناقب لابن شهرآشوب رَوَى الثِّقَاتُ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ص أَنَّهُ قَالَ: يَا عَلِيُّ لَكَ أَشْيَاءُ لَيْسَ لِي مِثْلُهَا إِنَّ لَكَ زَوْجَةً مِثْلَ فَاطِمَةَ وَ لَيْسَ لِي مِثْلُهَا وَ لَكَ وَلَدَانِ مِنْ صُلْبِكَ وَ لَيْسَ لِي مِثْلُهُمَا مِنْ صُلْبِي وَ لَكَ مِثْلُ خَدِيجَةَ أُمِّ أَهْلِكَ وَ لَيْسَ لِي مِثْلُهَا حُمَاةً
وَ لَكَ صِهْرٌ مِثْلِي وَ لَكَ أَخٌ فِي النَّسَبِ مِثْلُ جَعْفَرٍ وَ لَيْسَ لِي مِثْلُهُ فِي النَّسَبِ وَ لَكَ أُمٌّ مِثْلُ فَاطِمَةَ بِنْتِ أَسَدٍ الْهَاشِمِيَّةِ الْمُهَاجِرَةِ وَ لَيْسَ لِي مِثْلُهَا. سَلْمَانُ وَ أَبُو ذَرٍّ وَ الْمِقْدَادُ أَنَّ رَجُلًا فَاخَرَ عَلِيَّ بْنَ أَبِي طَالِبٍ ع فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ ص فَاخِرِ الْعَرَبَ فَأَنْتَ أَكْرَمُهُمْ ابْنَ عَمٍّ وَ أَكْرَمُهُمْ نَفْساً وَ أَكْرَمُهُمْ زَوْجَةً وَ أَكْرَمُهُمْ وَلَداً وَ أَكْرَمُهُمْ أَخاً وَ أَكْرَمُهُمْ عَمّاً وَ أَعْظَمُهُمْ حِلْماً وَ أَكْثَرُهُمْ عِلْماً وَ أَقْدَمُهُمْ سِلْماً. وَ فِي خَبَرٍ وَ أَشْجَعُهُمْ قَلْباً وَ أَسْخَاهُمْ كَفّاً. وَ فِي خَبَرٍ آخَرَ أَنْتَ أَفْضَلُ أُمَّتِي فَضْلًا.
(The book) ‘Al Manaqib’ of Ibn Shehr Ashub –
‘It is reported by the trusted ones that the Prophet-saww said: ‘O Ali-asws! There are things for you-asws, their like is not for me-saww. For you-asws is a wife like Fatima-asws and there isn’t for me-saww like her-asws; and for you-asws are two sons-asws from your-asws Sulb, and the like of them-asws aren’t for me-saww from my-saww Sulb; and for you-asws there is a mother-in-law like Khadeeja-asws, and the like of her-as isn’t for me-saww as a mother-in-law. And for you-asws is a father-in-law like me-saww, and for you-asws in the lineage is the like of Ja’far-asws, and there isn’t for me-saww like him-as in the lineage, and for you-asws is a mother-as like Fatima-asws Bint Asad-as, the Hashimite, the emigrant, and the like of her-as isn’t for me-saww’’. [127]
Salman-ra and Abu Zarr-ra and Al-Miqdad-ra – ‘A man prided upon Ali-asws Bin Abu Talib-asws. The Prophet-saww said: ‘The Arabs are priding and you-asws are their most honourable as a son-asws of an uncle-as, and their most honourable as a self, and their most honourable as a husband, and their most honourable as a son-asws, and their most honourable as a brother-asws, and their most honourable as an uncle-asws, and their mightiest in wisdom, and their most honourable in knowledge, and their most advanced in being a Muslim’’. [128]
And in a Hadeeth – ‘And their bravest of heart, and their most generous of palm’’. [129]
And in another Hadeeth – ‘You-asws are the most superior of my-saww community is merits’’. [130]
