ن، عيون أخبار الرضا عليه السلام ل، الخصال ابْنُ نَاتَانَةَ وَ الْمُكَتِّبُ وَ الْهَمَذَانِيُّ وَ الْوَرَّاقُ جَمِيعاً عَنْ عَلِيٍّ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ يَاسِرٍ الْخَادِمِ عَنِ الرِّضَا عَنْ آبَائِهِ ع قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ص يَا عَلِيُّ إِنِّي سَأَلْتُ رَبِّي عَزَّ وَ جَلَّ فِيكَ خَمْسَ خِصَالٍ فَأَعْطَانِي
أَمَّا أَوَّلُهَا فَإِنِّي سَأَلْتُهُ أَنْ تَنْشَقَّ الْأَرْضُ عَنِّي فَأَنْفُضَ التُّرَابَ عَنْ رَأْسِي وَ أَنْتَ مَعِي فَأَعْطَانِي وَ أَمَّا الثَّانِيَةُ فَإِنِّي سَأَلْتُهُ أَنْ يَقِفَنِي عِنْدَ كِفَّةِ الْمِيزَانِ وَ أَنْتَ مَعِي فَأَعْطَانِي
وَ أَمَّا الثَّالِثَةُ فَسَأَلْتُ رَبِّي عَزَّ وَ جَلَّ أَنْ يَجْعَلَكَ حَامِلَ لِوَائِي وَ هُوَ لِوَاءُ اللَّهِ الْأَكْبَرُ عَلَيْهِ مَكْتُوبٌ الْمُفْلِحُونَ الْفَائِزُونَ بِالْجَنَّةِ فَأَعْطَانِي وَ أَمَّا الرَّابِعَةُ فَإِنِّي سَأَلْتُهُ أَنْ يَسْقِيَ أُمَّتِي مِنْ حَوْضِي بِيَدِكَ فَأَعْطَانِي
وَ أَمَّا الْخَامِسَةُ فَإِنِّي سَأَلْتُهُ أَنْ يَجْعَلَكَ قَائِدَ أُمَّتِي إِلَى الْجَنَّةِ فَأَعْطَانِي فَالْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ الَّذِي مَنَّ عَلَيَّ بِهِ.
(The books) ‘Uyoon Akhbar Al Reza-asws’, (and) ‘Al Khisaal’ – Ibn Natanah, and Al Mukattib, and Al Hamdany, and Al Warraq, altogether from Ali, from his father, from Yasser Al Khadim, ‘From Al-Reza-asws, from his-asws forefathers-asws having said: ‘Rasool-Allah-saww said: ‘O Ali-asws! I-saww asked my-saww Lord-azwj Mighty and Majestic for five characteristics regarding you, and He-azwj Gave me-saww. As for their first, I-saww asked Him-azwj that when the ground splits from me-saww and I-saww shake off the soil from my-saww head, you-asws should be with me-saww. He-azwj Granted me-saww. And as for the second, I-saww asked Him-azwj when He-azwj Stands me-saww at the Scale, you-asws should be with me-saww. He-azwj Granted it to me-saww. And as for the third, I-saww asked my-saww Lord-azwj Mighty and Majestic to Make you-asws carry my-saww flag, and it is the greatest flag of Allah-azwj, upon it is written: “The successful, the winners of the Paradise”. He-azwj Granted it to me-saww. And as for the fourth, I-saww asked Him-azwj to Quench my-saww community from my-saww Fountain by your-asws hands. He-azwj Granted it to me-saww. And as for the fifth, I-saww asked Him-azwj to Make you-asws a guide of my-saww community to the Paradise. He-azwj Granted it to me-saww. So, the Praise is for Allah-azwj Who Conferred it upon me-saww’’. [134]
