بِكَ فَإِنَّا مِنْهُمْ مُنْتَقِمُونَ نَزَلَتْ فِي عَلِيِّ بْنِ أَبِي طَالِبٍ ع أَنَّهُ يَنْتَقِمُ مِنَ النَّاكِثِينَ وَ الْقَاسِطِينَ بَعْدِي. وَ عَنْ أُمِّ سَلَمَةَ عَنْهُ ص قَالَ: الْقُرْآنُ مَعَ عَلِيٍّ وَ عَلِيٌّ مَعَ الْقُرْآنِ. سَلْمَانُ قَالَ قَالَ النَّبِيُّ ص كُنْتُ أَنَا وَ عَلِيٌّ نُوراً بَيْنَ يَدَيِ اللَّهِ عَزَّ وَ جَلَّ مُطَبَّقاً يُسَبِّحُ اللَّهَ ذَلِكَ النُّورُ وَ يُقَدِّسُهُ قَبْلَ أَنْ يَخْلُقَ آدَمَ بِأَرْبَعَةَ عَشَرَ أَلْفَ عَامٍ فَلَمَّا خَلَقَ آدَمَ رَكَّبَ ذَلِكَ النُّورَ فِي صُلْبِهِ فَلَمْ نَزَلْ فِي شَيْءٍ وَاحِدٍ حَتَّى افْتَرَقْنَا فِي صُلْبِ عَبْدِ الْمُطَّلِبِ- فَجُزْءٌ أَنَا وَ جُزْءٌ عَلِيٌّ. وَ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ عَنْهُ ص قَالَ: سِبْطُ هَذِهِ الْأُمَّةِ الْحَسَنُ وَ الْحُسَيْنُ وَ حِصْنُ هَذِهِ الْأُمَّةِ عَلِيُّ بْنُ أَبِي طَالِبٍ ع. وَ عَنْ حُذَيْفَةَ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ص قَالَ: لَوْ عَلِمَ النَّاسُ مَتَى سُمِّيَ عَلِيٌّ أَمِيرَ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ مَا أَنْكَرُوا فَضْلَهُ سُمِّيَ أَمِيرَ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ وَ آدَمُ بَيْنَ الرُّوحِ وَ الْجَسَدِ
قَالَ اللَّهُ تَعَالَى وَ إِذْ أَخَذَ رَبُّكَ مِنْ بَنِي آدَمَ مِنْ ظُهُورِهِمْ ذُرِّيَّتَهُمْ وَ أَشْهَدَهُمْ عَلى أَنْفُسِهِمْ أَ لَسْتُ بِرَبِّكُمْ قَالَتِ الْمَلَائِكَةُ بَلَى فَقَالَ اللَّهُ تَبَارَكَ وَ تَعَالَى أَنَا رَبُّكُمْ وَ مُحَمَّدٌ نَبِيُّكُمْ وَ عَلِيٌّ أَمِيرُكُمْ. وَ عَنْ أُمِّ سَلَمَةَ عَنْهُ ص قَالَ: لَوْ لَمْ يُخْلَقْ عَلِيٌّ مَا كَانَ لِفَاطِمَةَ كُفْوٌ. أَبُو أَيُّوبَ عَنْهُ ص لَقَدْ صَلَّتِ الْمَلَائِكَةُ عَلَيَّ وَ عَلَى عَلِيٍّ سَبْعَ سِنِينَ وَ ذَلِكَ أَنَّهُ لَمْ يُصَلِّ مَعِي رَجُلٌ غَيْرُهُ. وَ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ عَنْهُ ص قَالَ: مَنْ سَبَّ عَلِيّاً فَقَدْ سَبَّنِي وَ مَنْ سَبَّنِي فَقَدْ سَبَّ اللَّهَ وَ مَنْ سَبَّ اللَّهَ أَدْخَلَهُ اللَّهُ نَارَ جَهَنَّمَ وَ لَهُ عَذَابٌ مُقِيمٌ. وَ عَنْ أَبِي الْحَمْرَاءِ عَنْهُ ص مَنْ أَرَادَ أَنْ يَنْظُرَ إِلَى آدَمَ فِي وَقَارِهِ وَ إِلَى مُوسَى فِي شِدَّةِ بَطْشِهِ وَ إِلَى عِيسَى فِي زُهْدِهِ فَلْيَنْظُرْ إِلَى هَذَا الْمُقْبِلِ فَأَقْبَلَ عَلِيٌّ ع. وَ عَنْ مُعَاذٍ عَنْهُ ص النَّظَرُ إِلَى وَجْهِ عَلِيٍّ عِبَادَةٌ. وَ عَنْ عِمْرَانَ بْنِ حُصَيْنٍ عَنْهُ ص النَّظَرُ إِلَى ابْنِ أَبِي طَالِبٍ عِبَادَةٌ. وَ عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ عَنْهُ ص النَّاسُ مِنْ شَجَرٍ شَتَّى وَ أَنَا وَ عَلِيٌّ مِنْ شَجَرَةٍ وَاحِدَةٍ. وَ عَنْ عَمَّارِ بْنِ يَاسِرٍ قَالَ قَالَ النَّبِيُّ ص يَا عَلِيُّ إِنَّ اللَّهَ عَزَّ وَ جَلَّ زَيَّنَكَ بِزِينَةٍ لَمْ يَتَزَيَّنِ الْخَلَائِقَ بِزِينَةٍ هِيَ أَحَبُّ إِلَيْهِ

From Jabir Bin Abdullah, from him-saww regarding Words of the Exalted: So if We were to Take you away, We would still Take Revenge from them [43: 41]: ‘It was Revealed regarding Ali-asws Bin Abu Talib-asws. He-asws will be taking revenge from the allegiance-breakers, and the deviants (and the renegades) after me-saww’’. [166]
And from Umm Salama-ra, from him-saww having said: ‘The Quran is with Ali-asws and Ali-asws is with the Quran’’. [167]
Salman-ra said, ‘The Prophet-saww said: ‘I-saww and Ali-asws were Noor in front of Allah-azwj Mighty and Majestic. That Noor glorified Allah-azwj and extolled His-azwj Holiness before He-azwj Created Adam-as by four thousand years. When He-azwj Created Adam-as, Installed that Noor in his-as Sulb. We-asws did not cease to be in one thing until we-asws separated in the Sulb of Abdul Muttalib – so a segment was me-saww, and segment was Ali-asws’’. [168]
And from Ibn Abbas, from him-saww having said: ‘Grandsons of this community are Al-Hassan-asws and Al-Husayn-asws, and a fortress of this community is Ali-asws Bin Abu Talib-asws’’. [169]
And from Huzeyfa, from the Prophet-saww having said: ‘If the people knew why Ali-asws has been named as ‘Amir Al-Momineen’, they would not deny his-asws merit. Amir Al-Momineen-asws was named as such while Adam-as was between the spirit and the body. Allah-azwj the Exalted Said: And when your Lord Seized from the Children of Adam, their offspring from their foreheads and Made them testify against their own selves: “Am I not your Lord? ” [7: 172]. The Angels said, ‘Yes’. Allah-azwj Blessed and Exalted Said: ‘I-azwj am your Lord-azwj, and Muhammad-saww is your Prophet-saww, and Ali-asws is your commander (Amir)’’. [170]
And from Umm Salama-ra, from him-saww having said: ‘If Ali-asws had not been Created, there would not have been a match for (Syeda) Fatima-asws’’. [171]
Abu Ayoub, from him-saww: ‘The Angels have sent Salawaat upon me-saww and upon Ali-asws for seven years. That is because no man had prayed Salat with me-saww apart from him-asws’’. [172]
And from Ibn Abbas, from him-saww having said: ‘One who reviles Ali-asws has reviled me-saww, and one reviling me-saww has reviled Allah-azwj, and one who reviles Allah-azwj, Allah-azwj would Enter him into the Fire of Hell, and for him would be ever-lasting Punishment’’. [173]
And from Abu Al-Hamra’a, from him-saww: ‘One who wants to look at Adam-as in his-as dignity, and to Musa-as in the intensity of his-as valour, and to Isa-as in his-as ascetism, then let him look at this one coming! ’ And Ali-asws came’’. [174]
And from Muaz, from him-saww: ‘The looking at the face of Ali-asws is (an act of) worship’’. [175]
And from Imran Bin Huseyn, from him-saww: ‘The looking at Ibn Abu Talib-asws is (an act of) worship’’. [176]
And from Ibn Umar, from him-saww: ‘The people are from various trees (lineages), while I-saww and Ali-asws are from one tree’’. [177]
And from Ammar Bin Yasser-ra who said: ‘The Prophet-saww said: ‘O Ali-asws! Allah-azwj Mighty and Majestic has Adorned you-asws with such adornments He-azwj did not Adorn the creatures with such adornments. The most beloved to Him-azwj from these is the ascetis
