ل، الخصال أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ إِسْحَاقَ الدِّينَوَرِيُّ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْحَمِيدِ الْفُرْقَانِيِّ عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ بُدَيْلٍ عَنْ مُفَضَّلِ بْنِ صَالِحٍ عَنْ سِمَاكِ بْنِ حَرْبٍ عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ: كَانَ لِعَلِيٍّ ع أَرْبَعُ مَنَاقِبَ لَمْ يَسْبِقْهُ إِلَيْهَا عَرَبِيٌّ كَانَ أَوَّلَ مَنْ صَلَّى مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ص وَ كَانَ صَاحِبَ رَايَتِهِ فِي كُلِّ زَحْفٍ وَ انْهَزَمَ النَّاسُ يَوْمَ الْمِهْرَاسِ وَ ثَبَتَ هُوَ وَ غَسَلَهُ وَ أَدْخَلَهُ قَبْرَهُ.
(The book) ‘Al Khisaal’ – Ahmad Bin Muhammad Bin Is’haq Al Deynawari, from Muhammad Bin Abdul Hameed Al Furqany, from Ahmad Bin Budeyl, from Mufazzal Bin Salih, from Budeyl, from Mufazzal Bin Salih, from Simak Bin Harab, from Ikrimah (Bin Abu Jahl-la), from Ibn Abbas who said, ‘There were four virtues for Ali-asws, no Arab preceded him-asws to it. He was the first one to pray Salat with Rasool-Allah-saww, and he-asws was bearer of his-saww flag during every march, and the people were defeated during the day of ‘Al-Mihras’ (Ohad), while he-asws was steadfast, and he-asws washed him-saww and placed him-saww into his-saww grave’’. [19]
