Hadith 130

The book) ‘Al Kharaij Wa Al Jaraih’ – It is reported from Al-Hassan Bin Ali Al Washa who said, ‘We were in the presence of a man at Merv and with us was a Waqifite man. I said to him, ‘Fear Allah-azwj! I used to be like you, then Allah-azwj Enlightened my heart. So, fast on Wednesday and the Thursday and the Friday, and wash and pray two Cycles Salat and ask Allah-azwj to Show you in your dream what you can be pointed with upon this matter’. I returned to the house and a letter of Abu Al-Hassan-asws had preceded me, instructing me in it that I should be calling that man to this matter. I went to him and informed him and said, ‘Praise Allah-azwj and seek Guidance one hundred times’. And I said to him, ‘I found a letter of Abu Al-Hassan-asws to have preceded me to the house that I should be saying to you what we are in, and I hope that Allah-azwj would Enlighten your heart. So do what I had said to you, from the fasting, and the supplicating’. He came to me on the day of Saturday during the pre-dawn. He said to me, ‘I testify that he-asws is the Imam-asws of obligatory obedience’. I said, ‘And how is that so? ’ He said, ‘Abu Al-Hassan-asws came to me in the dream last night and said: ‘O Ibrahim! By Allah-azwj, you will return to the truth! ’ And he-asws claimed that no one had Notified him-asws upon it except Allah-azwj’’. [138]
