يج، الخرائج و الجرائح رُوِيَ عَنْ صَفْوَانَ بْنِ يَحْيَى قَالَ: كُنْتُ مَعَ الرِّضَا ع بِالْمَدِينَةِ فَمَرَّ مَعَ قَوْمٍ بِقَاعِدٍ فَقَالَ هَذَا إِمَامُ الرَّافِضَةِ فَقُلْتُ لَهُ ع أَ مَا سَمِعْتَ مَا قَالَ هَذَا الْقَاعِدُ قَالَ نَعَمْ إِنَّهُ مُؤْمِنٌ مُسْتَكْمِلُ الْإِيمَانِ
فَلَمَّا كَانَ بِاللَّيْلِ دَعَا عَلَيْهِ فَاحْتَرَقَ دُكَّانُهُ وَ نَهَبَ السُّرَّاقُ مَا بَقِيَ مِنْ مَتَاعِهِ فَرَأَيْتُ مِنَ الْغَدِ بَيْنَ يَدَيْ أَبِي الْحَسَنِ خَاضِعاً مُسْتَكِيناً فَأَمَرَ لَهُ بِشَيْءٍ ثُمَّ قَالَ يَا صَفْوَانُ أَمَا إِنَّهُ مُؤْمِنٌ مُسْتَكْمِلُ الْإِيمَانِ وَ مَا يُصْلِحُهُ غَيْرُ مَا رَأَيْتَ.
(The book) ‘Al Kharaij Wa Al Jaraih’ – It is reported from Safwan Bin Yahya who said, ‘I was with Al-Reza-asws at Al-Medina. A group passed by with a leader. He said, ‘This is the Imam-asws of the Rafizites (Shias)’. I said to him-asws, ‘Didn’t you-asws hear what this leader said? ’ He-asws said: ‘He is a Momin of complete Eman’. When it was at night, he-asws supplicated against him. His-asws shop got burned down and the thieves looted whatever had remained from his chattels. I saw him the next morning being in front of Abu Al-Hassan-asws, humble, servile. He-asws ordered with something for him, then said: ‘O Safwan! As for him, he is a Momin of complete Eman, and nothing could have corrected him apart from what you saw’’. [142]
