ما، الأمالي للشيخ الطوسي الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ الْقَزْوِينِيُّ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ وَهْبَانَ عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ عَلِيٍّ الزَّعْفَرَانِيِّ عَنِ الْبَرْقِيِّ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي عُمَيْرٍ عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ سَالِمٍ قَالَ قَالَ أَبُو عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ع وَ ذَكَرَ السُّفْيَانِيَّ فَقَالَ أَمَّا الرِّجَالُ فَتُوَارِي وُجُوهَهَا عَنْهُ وَ أَمَّا النِّسَاءُ فَلَيْسَ عَلَيْهِنَّ بَأْسٌ. وَ بِهَذَا الْإِسْنَادِ عَنْ هِشَامٍ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ع قَالَ لَمَّا خَرَجَ طَالِبُ الْحَقِّ قِيلَ لِأَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ع تَرْجُو أَنْ يَكُونَ هَذَا الْيَمَانِيَّ فَقَالَ لَا الْيَمَانِيُّ يَتَوَالَى عَلِيّاً وَ هَذَا يَبْرَأُ مِنْهُ. وَ بِهَذَا الْإِسْنَادِ عَنْ هِشَامٍ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ع قَالَ الْيَمَانِيُّ وَ السُّفْيَانِيُ كَفَرَسَيْ رِهَانٍ.
(The book) ‘Al Amaali’ of the sheykh Al Tusi – Al Husayn Bin Ibrahim Al Qazwiny, from Muhammad Bin Wahban, from Ahmad Bin Ibrahim, from Al Hassan Bin Ali Al Zafrany, from Al Barqy, from his father, from Ibn Abu Umeyr, from Hisham Bin Salim who said, ‘Abu Abdullah-asws said, and he-asws mentioned Al-Sufyan. He-asws said: ‘As for the men, they should cover their faces from him, and as for the women, there wouldn’t be any problems upon them’’. [182]
And by this chain from Hisham, ‘From Abu Abdullah-asws having said: ‘When the seeker of truth emerges’. It was said to Abu Abdullah-asws: ‘Hopefully this would be Al-Yamani’. He-asws said: ‘No. Al-Yamani will befriend Ali-asws and this one will disavow from him-asws’’. [183]
And by this chain from Hisham, ‘From Abu Abdullah-asws having said: ‘Al-Yamani and Al-Sufyani are like to racehorses’’. [184]
