وَ فِيهِ، قَالَ كَعْبُ الْأَحْبَارِ مَكْتُوبٌ فِي التَّوْرَاةِ يَا مُوسَى مَنْ أَحَبَّنِي لَمْ يَنْسَنِي وَ مَنْ رَجَا مَعْرُوفِي أَلَحَّ فِي مَسْأَلَتِي
يَا مُوسَى إِنِّي لَسْتُ بِغَافِلٍ عَنْ خَلْقِي وَ لَكِنْ أُحِبُّ أَنْ يَسْمَعَ مَلَائِكَتِي ضَجِيجَ الدُّعَاءِ مِنْ عِبَادِي وَ تَرَى حَفَظَتِي تَقَرُّبَ بَنِي آدَمَ إِلَيَّ بِمَا أَنَا مُقَوِّيهِمْ عَلَيْهِ وَ مُسَبِّبُهُ لَهُمْ
يَا مُوسَى قُلْ لِبَنِي إِسْرَائِيلَ لَا تُبْطِرَنَّكُمُ النِّعْمَةُ فَيُعَاجِلَكُمُ السَّلْبُ وَ لَا تَغْفُلُوا عَنِ الشُّكْرِ فَيُقَارِعَكُمُ الذُّلُّ وَ أَلِحُّوا فِي الدُّعَاءِ تَشْمَلْكُمُ الرَّحْمَةُ بِالْإِجَابَةِ وَ تَهْنِئْكُمُ الْعَافِيَةُ.
And in it, Ka’ab Al-Ahbar said, ‘It is written in the Torah: “O Musa-as! One who loves me will not forget Me-azwj; and one hoping for My-azwj Kindness will be persistent in asking Me-azwj. O Musa-as! I-azwj am not heedless from My-azwj creatures, but I-azwj love My-azwj Angels to hear noise (buzz) of the supplications from My-azwj servants and My-azwj Recording Angels to see the son of Adam-as drawing closer to Me-azwj with what I-azwj have Strengthened them upon and Caused it for them. O Musa-as! Say to the children of Israel: ‘Do not be overwhelmed at the bounties for the stripping will hasten to you; and do not be heedless from the thanking, for the disgrace will knock you down; and be insistent in the supplication, the Mercy will Include you with the Answer, and the well being will welcome you! ”’[13]
