﷽

(The book) ‘Al Amaali’ of Al Sadouq – Ibn Masrour, from Ibn Aamir, from his uncle, from Ibn Abu Umeyr, from Ibn Sinan, ‘From Abu Abdullah-asws having said: ‘One day Rasool-Allah-saww said to Ali-asws: ‘Shall I-saww give you-asws glad tidings? ’
He-asws said: ‘Yes, may my-asws father-as and my-asws mother-as be (sacrificed for) you-saww, for you-saww have not ceased to give glad tidings with all goodness! ’
He-saww said: ‘Jibraeel-as informed me-saww just now with the wonder! ’
Ali-asws said to him-saww, ‘And what is that which he-as informed you-saww, O Rasool-Allah-saww? ’
He-saww said: ‘He-as informed me-saww that the man from my-saww community, when he sends Salawaat upon me-saww and follows up the Salawaat upon People-asws of my-saww Household, doors of the sky are opened for him and the Angels send seventy Salawaat upon him, and even if he was a sinner, a wrong-doer, then the sins drop off from him just as the leaves drop off from the tree. And Allah-azwj Blessed and Exalted Says: “Here I-azwj am, O My-azwj servant, and (for) your assistance! ”, and Allah-azwj Says to His-azwj Angels: “You send seventy Salawaat upon him, and I-azwj am Sending seven hundred Salawaat upon him! ”
And when he sends Salawaat upon me-saww and does not follow-up with the Salawaat upon People-asws of my-saww Household, there would be seventy veils between it and the sky, and He-azwj, Majestic is His-azwj Majesty Says: “Neither am I-azwj here for you nor (for) your assistance! O My-azwj Angels, do not ascend with his supplication except if he joins with My‑azwj Prophet-saww his-saww family-asws! ”
It does not cease to be veiled until he joins People-asws of my-saww Household with me-saww! ’’[70]
