Hadith 58

(The book) ‘Mahj Al Dawaat’ – Ali Bin Abdul Samad, from his grandfather, from the jurist Abu Al-Hassan, from the Seyyid Abu Barakaat Ali Bin Al-Husayn Al Hasany Al Jowzy, from Muhammad Bin Babuwayh, from Al-Hassan Bin Muhammad Bin Saeed, from Furat Bin Ibrahim, from Ja’far Bin Muhammad Bin Bashrawiya, from Muhammad Bin Idrees Al Ansari, from Dawood Bin Rusheyd, and Al Waleed Bin Shuja’a Bin Marwan, from Aasim, ‘From Abdullah son of Salman Al-Farsi-ra, from his father-ra having said: ‘I-ra went out from my‑ra house one day, ten days after the expiry of Rasool-Allah-saww. I-ra was met by Ali‑asws Bin Abu Talib‑asws, son-asws of uncle-as of Rasool-Allah-saww. He-asws said to me-ra: ‘O Salman-ra! You-ra have forsaken us-asws after Rasool-Allah-saww! ’
I-ra said, ‘My-ra beloved Abu Al-Hassan-asws! The likes of you-asws are not forsaken, apart from that, my-ra grief upon Rasool-Allah-saww has prolonged. It is which has prevented me-ra from visiting you-asws all! ’
He-asws said: ‘O Salman-ra! Come to the house of (Syeda) Fatima-asws daughter-asws of Rasool-Allah-saww, for she-asws is longing to see you-ra, wanting to gift you-ra a gift which has been gifted with from the Paradise! ’
I-ra said to Ali-asws, ‘(Syeda) Fatima-asws has been gifted with something from the Paradise, after the expiry of Rasool-Allah-saww? ’
He-asws said: ‘Yes, yesterday! ’
Salman-ra said ‘I-ra went to the house of (Syeda) Fatima-asws daughter-asws of Muhammad-saww. There she-asws was seated and upon her-asws was a piece of abaya (so short) that when she-asws veiled her-asws head, it would lift from her-asws feet, and when she-asws covered her-asws feet, it would not cover her-asws head. When she-asws looked at my-asws (state), I-ra was embarrassed. Then she-asws said: ‘O Salman-ra! You-ra have forsaken me-asws after expiry of my-asws father-saww! ; I-ra said: ‘My-ra beloved (daughter)! I-ra did not forsake you-asws at all! ’
She-asws said: ‘Shh! Be seated and understand what I-asws am saying to you-ra! Yesterday I-asws was seated in this seat, and the door of the house was locked, and I-asws was contemplating regarding termination of the Revelation from us-asws, and the coming and going of the Angels from our-asws house, when the door opened from without anyone opening it. Three girls entered to see me-asws. The beholders have not seen (the likes) of their beauty, nor their appearances, nor bliss of their faces, nor any purer than their aromas. When I-asws saw them, I-asws stood up to them disapproving of them. I-asws said to them: ‘By my-asws father-saww! Are you from people of Makkah or from people of Al-Medina? ’
They said, ‘O daughter-asws of Muhammad-saww! We are neither from people of Makkah nor from people of Al-Medina, nor are we from people of the earth altogether, apart from that we are girls from the Maiden Houries, from the House of Peace! The Lord-azwj of Might has Sent us to you-asws, O daughter-asws of Muhammad-saww! We have been yearning to see you‑asws! ’
I-asws said to the one I-asws thought was of eldest of age: ‘What is your name? ’
She said, ‘My name is Ma
