دَعَائِمُ الْإِسْلَامِ، عَنْ أَبِي جَعْفَرٍ ع فِي قَوْلِ اللَّهِ- تَنَزَّلُ الْمَلائِكَةُ وَ الرُّوحُ فِيها قَالَ تَنَزَّلُ فِيهَا الْمَلَائِكَةُ وَ الْكَتَبَةُ إِلَى السَّمَاءِ الدُّنْيَا فَيَكْتُبُونَ مَا يَكُونُ فِي السَّنَةِ مِنْ أَمْرِهِ وَ مَا يُصِيبُ الْعِبَادَ وَ الْأَمْرُ عِنْدَهُ مَوْقُوفٌ لَهُ فِيهِ الْمَشِيَّةُ فَيُقَدِّمُ مَا يَشَاءُ وَ يُؤَخِّرُ مَا يَشَاءُ وَ يَمْحُوا اللَّهُ ما يَشاءُ وَ يُثْبِتُ وَ عِنْدَهُ أُمُّ الْكِتابِ. وَ عَنْ عَلِيٍّ ع أَنَّهُ قَالَ: سَلُوا اللَّهَ الْحَجَّ فِي لَيْلَةِ سَبْعَ عَشْرَةَ مِنْ شَهْرِ رَمَضَانَ وَ فِي تِسْعَ عَشْرَةَ وَ فِي إِحْدَى وَ عِشْرِينَ وَ فِي ثَلَاثٍ وَ عِشْرِينَ فَإِنَّهُ يُكْتَبُ الْوَفْدُ فِي كُلِّ عَامٍ لَيْلَةَ الْقَدْرِ وَ فِيها يُفْرَقُ كُلُّ أَمْرٍ حَكِيمٍ. وَ عَنْ أَبِي جَعْفَرٍ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَلِيٍّ صَلَوَاتُ اللَّهِ عَلَيْهِ أَنَّهُ قَالَ: عَلَامَةُ لَيْلَةِ الْقَدْرِ أَنْ تَهُبَّ رِيحٌ فَإِنْ كَانَتْ فِي بَرْدٍ دَفِئَتْ وَ إِنْ كَانَتْ فِي حَرٍّ بَرَدَتْ. وَ عَنْهُ عَنْ آبَائِهِ ع أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ص نَهَى أَنْ تُغْفَلَ عَنْ لَيْلَةِ إِحْدَى وَ عِشْرِينَ وَ لَيْلَةِ ثَلَاثٍ وَ عِشْرِينَ أَوْ يَنَامَ أَحَدٌ تِلْكَ اللَّيْلَةَ. وَ عَنْهُ ع أَنَّهُ قَالَ: مَنْ وَافَقَ لَيْلَةَ الْقَدْرِ فَقَامَهَا غَفَرَ اللَّهُ لَهُ مَا تَقَدَّمَ مِنْ ذَنْبِهِ وَ مَا تَأَخَّرَ. وَ عَنْ أَبِي جَعْفَرٍ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَلِيٍّ ع أَنَّهُ قَالَ: أَتَى رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ص رَجُلٌ مِنْ جُهَيْنَةَ فَقَالَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ إِنَّ لِي إِبِلًا وَ غَنَماً وَ غِلْمَةً وَ أُحِبُّ أَنْ تَأْمُرَنِي بِلَيْلَةٍ أَدْخُلُ فِيهَا مِنْ شَهْرِ رَمَضَانَ فَأَشْهَدُ الصَّلَاةَ
فَدَعَاهُ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ص فَسَارَّهُ فِي أُذُنِهِ فَكَانَ الْجُهَنِيُّ إِذَا كَانَتْ لَيْلَةُ ثَلَاثٍ وَ عِشْرِينَ دَخَلَ بِإِبِلِهِ وَ غَنَمِهِ وَ أَهْلِهِ وَ وُلْدِهِ وَ غِلْمَتِهِ فَبَاتَ تِلْكَ اللَّيْلَةَ بِال
(The book) ‘Da’aim Al Islam’ –
‘From Abu Ja’far-asws regarding Words of Allah-azwj: The Angels and the Spirit descend during it by Permission of their Lord of every matter [97: 4]. He-asws said: ‘The Angels and the Books descend during it to sky of the world. They write whatever is to happen in the year from His‑azwj Command, and what will be afflicting the servants, and the Command is paused with Him-azwj. There is the Desire for Him-azwj regarding it, so He-azwj Advances what He-azwj Desires and Delays what He-azwj Desires, Allah Deletes and Affirms whatever He so Desires to, and with Him is the Mother of the Book [13: 39]’’. [17]
And from Ali-asws, he-asws said: ‘Ask Allah-azwj for the Hajj during the night of the 17th of a month of Ramazan, and in 19th, and 21st, and 23rd, for the delegations are written during every year on Laylat Al-Qadr, and During it, every wise matter is made distinct [44: 4]’’. [18]
And from Abu Ja’far Muhammad-asws Bin Ali-asws, may the Salawaat of Allah-azwj upon him-asws having said: ‘A mark (sign) of Laylat Al-Qadr is blowing of a wind. If it was during cold (weather), it (wind) would warm up, and if it was during hot (weather), it would cool down’’. [19]
And from him-asws, from his-asws forefathers-asws: ‘Rasool-Allah-saww prohibited to be heedless of the night of 21st and night of 23rd, or anyone sleeping that night’’. [20]
And from him-asws having said: ‘One who harmonises to Laylat Al-Qadr so he establishes it, Allah-azwj will Forgive for him whatever he had sent ahead from his sins and whatever he had delayed (yet to commit)’’. [21]
And from Abu Ja’far Muhammad-asws Bin Ali-asws having said: ‘A man from Juheyna came to Rasool-Allah-saww. He said, ‘O Rasool-Allah-saww! For me there are camels, and sheep, and servants, and I would love it if you-saww could instruct me with a night from a month of Ramazan I can be entering in it, so I can attend the Salat’.
