Hadith 78

(The book) ‘Fazaail Al Ash’har Al Salasa’ – from Al Muzaffar Bin Ja’far Bin Al Muzaffar Bin Al Alawy Al Samarqandy, from Ja’far Bin Muhammad Bin Masoud Al Abbasy, from his father, from Al-Husayn Bin Ashkeyb, from Muhammad Bin Ali Al Kufi, from Abu Jameela Al Mufazzal Bin Salih, from Abu Rumha Al Hazramy who said, ‘I heard Ja’far-asws Bin Muhammad-asws saying: ‘When it will be the Day of Qiyamah, a caller will call out from interior of the Throne: ‘Where are the ‘Rajabiyoun’ (observers of Rajab)? ’
Some people would stand up. Their faces will illuminate for the gathered people. Upon their heads will be crowns of the kings embedded with the gems and the sapphire. With every one of them will be a thousand Angels on his right, and a thousand Angels of his left, and they will be saying: ‘Congratulations! For you are the honours of Allah-azwj Mighty and Majestic, O servant of Allah-azwj! ’
The call will come from the Presence of Allah-azwj, Majestic is His-azwj Majesty: “My-azwj servants and My-azwj maids! By My-azwj Might and My-azwj Majestic, I-azwj shall honour your abodes, and I-azwj shall Make your awards plentiful, and I-azwj Make your homeland from the Paradise to be high places in the Paradise, the rivers flowing beneath these, being eternally therein. Splendid is the Recompense of the workers [29: 58]. You had volunteered with the fasting for Me-azwj in a month I-azwj have Magnified its sanctity and have Obligated its right. My-azwj Angels! Enter My-azwj servants and My-azwj maids into the Paradise! ”’
Then Ja’far-asws Bin Muhammad-asws said: ‘This is for one who fasts something from Rajab, and even if it is one day in its beginning, or its middle, or its end’’. [109]
