دَعَوَاتُ الرَّاوَنْدِيِّ، عَنْ زُرَارَةَ قَالَ قَالَ الصَّادِقُ ع تَأْخُذُ الْمُصْحَفَ فِي ثَلَاثِ لَيَالٍ مِنْ شَهْرِ رَمَضَانَ فَتَنْشُرُهُ وَ تَضَعُهُ بَيْنَ يَدَيْكَ وَ تَقُولُ- اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ بِكِتَابِكَ الْمُنْزَلِ وَ مَا فِيهِ وَ فِيهِ اسْمُكَ الْأَكْبَرُ وَ أَسْمَاؤُكَ الْحُسْنَى وَ مَا يُخَافُ وَ يُرْجَى أَنْ تَجْعَلَنِي مِنْ عُتَقَائِكَ مِنَ النَّارِ وَ تَدْعُو بِمَا بَدَا لَكَ مِنْ حَاجَةٍ. وَ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ع أَنَّ لَيْلَةَ الثَّالِثِ وَ الْعِشْرِينَ مِنْ شَهْرِ رَمَضَانَ هِيَ لَيْلَةُ الْجُهَنِيِّ فِيهَا يُفْرَقُ كُلُّ أَمْرٍ حَكِيمٍ وَ فِيهَا تَثْبُتُ الْبَلَايَا وَ الْمَنَايَا وَ الْآجَالُ وَ الْأَرْزَاقُ وَ الْقَضَايَا وَ جَمِيعُ مَا يُحْدِثُ اللَّهُ فِيهَا إِلَى مِثْلِهَا مِنَ الْحَوْلِ
فَطُوبَى لِعَبْدٍ أَحْيَاهَا رَاكِعاً وَ سَاجِداً وَ مَثَّلَ خَطَايَاهُ بَيْنَ عَيْنَيْهِ وَ يَبْكِي عَلَيْهَا فَإِذَا فَعَلَ ذَلِكَ رَجَوْتُ أَنْ لَا يَخِيبَ إِنْ شَاءَ اللَّهُ
وَ قَالَ يَأْمُرُ اللَّهُ مَلَكاً يُنَادِي فِي كُلِّ يَوْمٍ مِنْ شَهْرِ رَمَضَانَ فِي الْهَوَاءِ أَبْشِرُوا عِبَادِي فَقَدْ وَهَبْتُ لَكُمْ ذُنُوبَكُمُ السَّالِفَةَ وَ شَفَّعْتُ بَعْضَكُمْ فِي بَعْضٍ فِي لَيْلَةِ الْقَدْرِ إِلَّا مَنْ أَفْطَرَ عَلَى مُسْكِرٍ أَوْ حَقَدَ عَلَى أَخِيهِ الْمُسْلِمِ. وَ رُوِيَ أَنَّ اللَّهَ يَصْرِفُ السُّوءَ وَ الْفَحْشَاءَ وَ جَمِيعَ أَنْوَاعِ الْبَلَاءِ فِي اللَّيْلَةِ الْخَامِسَةِ وَ الْعِشْرِينَ عَنْ صُوَّامِ شَهْرِ رَمَضَانَ ثُمَّ يُعْطِيهِمُ النُّورَ فِي أَسْمَاعِهِمْ وَ أَبْصَارِهِمْ وَ أَنَّ الْجَنَّةَ تُزَيَّنُ فِي يَوْمِهِ وَ لَيْلَتِهِ.
(The book) ‘Dawaat’ of Al Rawandy – from Zurara who said, ‘Al-Sadiq-asws said: ‘Take the Parchment (Quran) during the 23rd night of Ramazan, spread it and place it in between your hands and say, ‘O Allah-azwj! I ask You-azwj by Your-azwj Revealed Book and what is in it, and in it is Your-azwj Greatest Name, and Your-azwj most excellent Names, and what is feared (from) and what is hoped (for), to Make me from Your-azwj Liberated ones from the Hellfire! ’ – and supplicate with whatever need comes to you’’. [8]
And from Abu Abdullah-asws: ‘Night of the 23rd from a month of Ramazan, it is (called) ‘Laylat Al-Juhanny’. During it there is every wise matter is made distinct, and during it are affirmed, the afflictions, and the deaths, and the terms, and the sustenance, and the Decrees, and entirety of what Allah-azwj will be Causing to occur in it up to its similar (night) from the following year. Beatitude is for a servant who revives it in Ruk’u and Sajdah and installs the sins in front of his eyes and cries upon them. When he does that, it is hoped that he will not be disappointed, if Allah-azwj so Desires! ’
And he-asws said: ‘Allah-azwj Commands an Angel who calls in the air out during every day of a month of Ramazan: ‘Receive glad tidings for you have been Gifted (Forgiven for) your past sins, and you will be interceded for each other during Laylat Al-Qadr, except one who breaks his fast upon an intoxicant or has a grudge against his Muslim brother’’. [9]
And it is reported that Allah-azwj Turns the evil and the immoralities and entire types of afflictions away during the night of 25th from fasts of a month of Ramazan. Then He-azwj Gives them the Noor in their hearing and their sights, and the Paradise is adorned during its day and its night’’. [10]
