4. Muḥammad ibn ‘Abdillāh ibn Ja’far Al-Ḥimyari narrated to me from his father, from ‘Ali ibn Muḥammad ibn Sālim, from Muḥammad ibn Khālid, from ‘Abdillāh ibn Ḥammād Al-Basri, from ‘Abdillāh ibn ‘Abdil Raḥmān Al-Asam, from Ibn Sinān, who said: I said to Abī ‘Abdillāh (Imam Sādiq (a. s. )): May I sacrifice myself for you! Your father (a. s. ) used to say that those who spend money going to Hajj will be recompensed with one thousand Dirhams for every Dirham they spent. Therefore, what is the reward for those who spend money traveling to your father, Ḥusain (a. s. )? Imam (a. s. ) replied: O son of Sinān! For every Dirham they spend, they will be recompensed with one thousand plus one thousand plus… Dirhams – and he repeated that ten times. Furthermore, their status will be elevated to the same degree. However, they will benefit even more (handsomely) from the pleasure of Allāh and the praying of Muḥammad (s. a. a. w. ), the Commander of the Believers (a. s. ), and the Imams (a. s. ) (because of their Ziyārah).
