ل، الخصال فِيمَا أَوْصَى بِهِ النَّبِيُّ ص إِلَى عَلِيٍّ ع يَا عَلِيُّ إِنَّ اللَّهَ عَزَّ وَ جَلَّ أَشْرَفَ عَلَى الدُّنْيَا فَاخْتَارَنِي مِنْهَا عَلَى رِجَالِ الْعَالَمِينَ ثُمَّ اطَّلَعَ الثَّانِيَةَ فَاخْتَارَكَ عَلَى رِجَالِ الْعَالَمِينَ بَعْدِي ثُمَّ اطَّلَعَ الثَّالِثَةَ فَاخْتَارَ الْأَئِمَّةَ مِنْ وُلْدِكَ عَلَى رِجَالِ الْعَالَمِينَ بَعْدَكَ ثُمَّ اطَّلَعَ الرَّابِعَةَ فَاخْتَارَ فَاطِمَةَ عَلَى نِسَاءِ الْعَالَمِينَ.
(The book) ‘Al-Khisaal’ – ‘Among what the Prophet-saww bequeathed to Ali-asws: ‘O Ali-asws! Allah-azwj Mighty and Majestic Overlooked upon the world, so He-azwj Chose me-saww over the men of the worlds. Then He-azwj Noticed secondly, so He-azwj Chose you-asws over the men of the worlds after me-saww. Then He-azwj Noticed thirdly, so He-azwj Chose the Imams-asws from your-asws sons-asws over the men of the worlds after you-asws. Then He-azwj Noticed fourthly, so He-azwj Chose (Syeda) Fatima-asws over the women of the worlds’’. [74]
