Hadith 67

(The book) ‘Rijal’ of Al Kashy – Hamdawiya, from Al-Husayn Bin Musa, from Suleyman Al Saydi, from Nasr Bin Qabous who said, ‘I was in the presence of Abu Al-Hassan-asws in his-asws house. He-asws grabbed my hand paused me at a room from the house. He-asws pushed the door, and there was his-asws son-asws Ali-asws, and in his-asws hand was a book he-asws was looking into. He-asws said to me: ‘O Nasr! Do you recognise this one? ’ I said, ‘Yes, this is your-asws son-asws Ali-asws’. He-asws said: ‘O Nasr! Do you know what this book is, the one which is in his-asws hand, he-asws is looking into? ’ I said, ‘No’. He-asws said: ‘This is Al-Jafr which no one can look into except a Prophet-as or a successor-as of a Prophet-as’. Al-Hassan son of Musa-asws said, ‘By my life! Nasr neither doubted nor was suspicious until the (news of) expiry of Abu Al-Hassan-asws came to him’’. [70]
