(The book) ‘Rijal’ of Al Kashy – Nasr Bin Al Sabbah who said, ‘It is narrated to me by Is’haq Bin Muhammad, form Muhammad Bin Abdullah Bin Mihran, from Ahmad Bin Muhammad Bin Matar, and Zakariya Al Luluie. Ibrahim Bin Shuayb said, ‘I was seated in the Masjid of Rasool-Allah-saww, and to my side was a man from the people of Al-Medina. I discussed with him for a while, and he asked me, ‘Where are you from? ’ I informed him that I was a man from the people of Al-Iraq. I said to him, ‘So, who are you? ’ He said, ‘A slave of Abu Al-Hassan Al-Reza-asws’. Is said to him, ‘There is a request for me to you’. He said, ‘And what is it? ’ I said, ‘Deliver a note to him-asws’. He said, ‘Yes, whenever you like’. I went and took a paper and wrote in it, ‘In the Name of Allah-azwj the Beneficent, the Merciful. The ones from your-asws forefathers-asws before you-asws were informing us with things wherein was evidence and proof, and I would love it if you-asws could inform me of my name, and name of my father, and of my son’. He (the narrator) said, ‘Then I sealed the letter and handed it to him. When it was the next morning, he came to me with a sealed letter. I opened it and read it, and there, at the bottom of the letter was written a response in his-asws handwriting: ‘In the Name of Allah-azwj the Beneficent, the Merciful. O Ibrahim! From your forefathers was Shuayb, and he was righteous, and from your sons are Muhammad and Ali, and so and so (daughter) and so and so. There are more names, we are not letting you know’. He (the narrator) said, ‘One of the people of the gathering said to him, ‘Know that just as he-asws has ratified you regarding others, so he-asws has ratified you regarding these, so search about them’’.
