ني، الغيبة للنعماني ابْنُ عُقْدَةَ عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ زَكَرِيَّا بْنِ شَيْبَانَ عَنْ أَبِي سُلَيْمَانَ بْنِ كُلَيْبٍ عَنِ ابْنِ الْبَطَائِنِيِّ عَنِ ابْنِ عَمِيرَةَ عَنِ الْحَضْرَمِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي جَعْفَرٍ الْبَاقِرِ ع أَنَّهُ سَمِعَهُ يَقُولُ لَا بُدَّ أَنْ يَمْلِكَ بَنُو الْعَبَّاسِ فَإِذَا مَلَكُوا وَ اخْتَلَفُوا وَ تَشَتَّتَ أَمْرُهُمْ خَرَجَ عَلَيْهِمُ الْخُرَاسَانِيُّ وَ السُّفْيَانِيُّ هَذَا مِنَ الْمَشْرِقِ وَ هَذَا مِنَ الْمَغْرِبِ يَسْتَبِقَانِ إِلَى الْكُوفَةِ كَفَرَسَيْ رِهَانٍ هَذَا مِنْ هَاهُنَا وَ هَذَا مِنْ هَاهُنَا حَتَّى يَكُونَ هَلَاكُهُمْ عَلَى أَيْدِيهِمَا أَمَا إِنَّهُمَا لَا يُبْقُونَ مِنْهُمْ أَحَداً أَبَداً.
(The book) ‘Al Ghayba’ of Al Numani – Ibn Uqdah, from Yahya Bin Zakariya Bin Shayban, from Abu Suleyman Bin Kuleyb, from Ibn Al Batainy, from Ibn Ameyra, from Al Hazramy, ‘From Abu Ja’far Al-Baqir-asws, he heard him-asws saying: ‘There is no escape from the rule of the Abbasids. When they do rule and differ, and their affairs get scattered, Al-Khurasani and Al-Sufyani would emerge against them. This one from the east and this one from the west. They will be racing to Al-Kufa like the racehorses. This is from over here and this one from over there, until their destruction would be upon both their hands. But they would not let anyone from them to remain, ever! ’’[109]
