وَ مِنْهُ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ سِنَانٍ عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ الدَّارِمِيِّ عَنْ زُرَارَةَ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ جَعْفَرِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ الصَّادِقِ ع أَنَّهُ احْتَجَمَ فَقَالَ يَا جَارِيَةُ هَلُمِّي ثَلَاثَ سُكَّرَاتٍ ثُمَّ قَالَ إِنَّ السُّكَّرَ بَعْدَ الْحِجَامَةِ يُورِدُ الدَّمَ الصَّافِيَ وَ يَقْطَعُ الْحَرَارَةَ.
And from him, from Ibrahim Bin Sinan, from Ahmad Bin Muhammad Al Daeimy, from Zurarah, ‘From Abu Abdullah Ja’far Bin Muhammad Al-Sadiq-asws having had cupping done. He-asws said: ‘O maid, three (lumps of) sugars! ’ Then he-asws said: ‘The sugar after the cupping returns the clean blood and cuts the heat’’. [172]
