الْعِلَلُ، وَ الْعُيُونُ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الْوَاحِدِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عُبْدُوسٍ عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ قُتَيْبَةَ عَنِ الْفَضْلِ بْنِ شَاذَانَ فِيمَا رَوَاهُ مِنَ الْعِلَلِ عَنِ الرِّضَا ع قَالَ: فَإِنْ قَالَ فَلِمَ زِيدَ فِي صَلَاةِ السُّنَّةِ يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ أَرْبَعُ رَكَعَاتٍ
قِيلَ تَعْظِيماً لِذَلِكَ الْيَوْمِ وَ تَفْرِقَةً بَيْنَهُ وَ بَيْنَ سَائِرِ الْأَيَّامِ.
(The books) ‘Al Ilal’ and ‘Al Uyoun’ – from Abdul Wahid Bin Muhammad Bin Ubdous, from Ali Bin Muhammad Bin Quteyba, from Al Fazl Bin Shazan, among what he reported from ‘Al Ilal’, ‘From Al-Reza-asws having said (in argumentation): ‘If he says, ‘Why is there an increase in the Sunnah (optional) Salat(s) on the day of Friday by four Cycles? ’
It will be said: ‘In reverence of that day and differentiating between it and rest of the days’’. [19]
