الْمُتَهَجِّدُ، وَ الْبَلَدُ الْأَمِينُ، وَ الْجُنَّةُ، جُنَّةُ الْأَمَانِ فَإِذَا تَوَجَّهْتَ إِلَى الْمُصَلَّى فَادْعُ بِهَذَا الدُّعَاءِ-
اللَّهُمَّ مَنْ تَهَيَّأَ وَ تَعَبَّأَ وَ أَعَدَّ وَ اسْتَعَدَّ لِوِفَادَةٍ إِلَى مَخْلُوقٍ رَجَاءَ رِفْدِهِ وَ طَلَبَ جَوَائِزِهِ وَ فَوَاضِلِهِ وَ نَوَافِلِهِ فَإِلَيْكَ يَا سَيِّدِي وِفَادَتِي وَ تَهْيِئَتِي وَ تَعْبِئَتِي وَ إِعْدَادِي وَ اسْتِعْدَادِي وَ رَجَاءَ رِفْدِكَ وَ جَوَائِزِكَ وَ نَوَافِلِكَ
فَلَا تُخَيِّبِ الْيَوْمَ رَجَائِي يَا مَوْلَايَ يَا مَنْ لَا يَخِيبُ عَلَيْهِ سَائِلٌ وَ لَا يَنْقُصُهُ نَائِلُ إِنِّي لَمْ آتِكَ الْيَوْمَ بِعَمَلٍ صَالِحٍ قَدَّمْتُهُ وَ لَا شَفَاعَةِ مَخْلُوقٍ رَجَوْتُهُ وَ لَكِنْ أَتَيْتُكَ مُقِرّاً بِالظُّلْمِ وَ الْإِسَاءَةِ عَلَى نَفْسِي وَ لَا حُجَّةَ لِي وَ لَا عُذْرَ
فَأَسْأَلُكَ يَا رَبِّ أَنْ تُعْطِيَنِي مَسْأَلَتِي وَ تَقْلِبَنِي بِرَغْبَتِي وَ لَا تَرُدَّنِي مَجْبُوهاً وَ لَا خَائِباً-
يَا عَظِيمُ يَا عَظِيمُ يَا عَظِيمُ أَرْجُوكَ لِلْعَظِيمِ أَسْأَلُكَ يَا عَظِيمُ أَنْ تَغْفِرَ لِيَ الْعَظِيمَ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ
اللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَ آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ وَ ارْزُقْنِي خَيْرَ هَذَا الْيَوْمِ الَّذِي شَرَّفْتَهُ وَ عَظَّمْتَهُ وَ تَغْسِلُنِي فِيهِ مِنْ جَمِيعِ ذُنُوبِي وَ خَطَايَايَ وَ زِدْنِي مِنْ فَضْلِكَ إِنَّكَ أَنْتَ الْوَهَّابُ.
(The books) ‘Al Mutahajjid’, and ‘Al Balad Al Ameen’, and ‘Junnat Al Amaan’ –
‘When you head to the praying place, then supplicate with this supplication: –
‘O Allah-azwj! There is one who prepares, or makes arrangements, or gets ready, or equips for going to a created being hoping for his rewards, and his awards, and his gifts, so to You-azwj, O my Master, would be my preparation, and my readiness, and my equipping hoping for You‑azwj Rewards, and Your-azwj Awards, and Your-azwj Gifts! Do not disappoint my hopes today O my Master, O One Who no beggar to Him-azwj is disappointed, nor is any achiever reduced! I have not come to You-azwj today with a righteous deeds having forwarded it, nor intercession of a created being I am hoping to, but I have come to You-azwj acknowledging the injustices and the evil deeds upon myself, and there is no argument for me nor any excuse. I ask You-azwj, O Lord-azwj, to Grant me my request and to Turn me in my desires and not Return me unanswered nor disappointed! O Mighty! O Mighty! O Mighty! I am hoping to You-azwj for the mighty matters! I ask You-azwj, O Mighty, to Forgive the mighty sins for me. There is no god except You-azwj! O Allah-azwj! Send Salawaat upon Muhammad-saww and Progeny-asws of Muhammad-saww, and Grace me goodness of this day which You-azwj have Ennobled it, and Magnify it, and Wash me in it from entirety of my sins and my wrong-doings, and Increase me from Your-azwj Grace, surely You-azwj are the Bestower! ’’[9]
