Hadith 13

sheep, and his family members, and his children, and his servants. He would spend that night at Al-Medina. When it was morning, he would go out with the ones who had entered with him, and would return to his place’’. [22]
And from him-saww, he-saww was asked about Laylat Al-Qadr, so he-saww said: ‘It is in the last ten (nights) of a month of Ramazan’’. [23]
And from Ali-asws, he-asws said; ‘Rasool-Allah-saww was asked about Laylat Al-Qadr. He-saww said: ‘Seek it in the last ten (nights) of a month of Ramazan. I-saww had seen it, then I-saww was Made to forget it, except I-saww saw myself-saww praying Salat that night in water and mud’. When it was night of 23rd, we were rained upon with severe rain and the Masjid (ceiling) leaked, so Rasool-Allah-saww prayed with us, and in the tip of his-saww nose was some mud’’. [24]
And from Ali-asws, may the Salawaat of Allah-azwj be upon him-asws, he-asws said: ‘Seek it in the last ten (nights), for the monuments are seven, and the skies are seven, and the earths are seven, and the green ears (of corn) are seven’’. [25]
And from him-asws: ‘Rasool-Allah-saww would fold his-saww bed (mattress) and tightened his waistband in the last ten (nights) of a month of Ramazan, and he-saww would wake up his-saww family members on the 23rd, and he-saww would sprinkle faces of the sleeping ones with water on that night. And (Syeda) Fatima-asws would not leave anyone of her-asws family members to sleep that night and she-asws would treat them with lack of food and she-asws would prepare it at daytime and she-asws said: ‘Deprived is the one deprived of its (Laylat Al-Qadr’s) goodness’’. [26]
And from Abu Ja’far Muhammad-asws Bin Ali-asws having said: ‘Night of the 17th of a month of Ramazan is the night in which the two parties meet, and night of the 19th, the delegations (of Hajj) for the year are written, and night of the 21st is the night in which the successor-asws of the Prophets-as passed away, and during it Isa-as was raised, and Musa-as had passed away, and night of the 23rd, Laylat Al-Qadr is hoped for in it’’. [27]
