ع، علل الشرائع أَبِي عَنْ مُحَمَّدٍ الْعَطَّارِ عَنِ الْأَشْعَرِيِّ عَنِ السَّيَّارِيِّ عَنْ بَعْضِ أَصْحَابِنَا عَنْ دَاوُدَ بْنِ فَرْقَدٍ قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ رَجُلًا سَأَلَ أَبَا عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ع عَنْ لَيْلَةِ الْقَدْرِ قَالَ أَخْبِرْنِي عَنْ لَيْلَةِ الْقَدْرِ كَانَتْ أَوْ تَكُونُ فِي كُلِّ عَامٍ
فَقَالَ لَهُ أَبُو عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ع لَوْ رُفِعَتْ لَيْلَةُ الْقَدْرِ لَرُفِعَ الْقُرْآنُ.
(The book) ‘Ilal Al Sharaie’ – My father, from Muhammad Al Attar, from Al Ash’ary, from Al Sayyari, from one of our companions, from Dawood Bin Farqad who said, ‘I heard a man asking Abu Abdullah-asws about Laylat Al-Qadr. He said: ‘Inform me about Laylat Al-Qadr. Has it happened or will it be happening during every year? ’
Abu Abdullah-asws said to him: ‘If Laylat Al-Qadr were to be raised, the Quran would be raised’’. [53]
