Hadith 9

And from him, from Yahya Bin Salih, from Mali Bin Khalid, from Al-Hassan Bin Ibrahim, from Abdullah Bin Al-Hassan, from Abaya, ‘From Amir Al-Momineen-asws having said: ‘Rasool-Allah-saww had performed Itikaaf (seclusion) in the first ten (days) from a month of Ramazan, and he-saww performed Itikaaf in the following year in the middle ten (days) from it. When it was the third year, he-saww returned from (battle of) Badr. He-saww fulfil his-saww Itikaaf. He-saww saw Laylat Al-Qadr in his-saww dream as being in the last ten. It was as if he-saww had done Sajdah in water and clay. When he-saww woke up, he-saww was returning from his-saww night, and his-saww wives and some people from his-saww companions were with him-saww. Then they were rained upon on the twenty-third, so the Prophet-saww prayed Salat when it was morning. The clay was seen in the face of the Prophet-saww. He-saww did not cease to perform Itikaaf in the last ten (days) of Ramazan until Allah-azwj Expired him-saww’’. [13]
