Man La Yahduruh al-Faqih · Shaykh al-Saduq
2338 - وَ رَوَى اَلْعَلاَءُ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ مُسْلِمٍ عَنْ أَبِي جَعْفَرٍ عَلَيْهِ اَلسَّلاَمُ قَالَ: «لاَ يَنْبَغِي لِلرَّجُلِ أَنْ يُقِيمَ بِمَكَّةَ سَنَةً» قُلْتُ كَيْفَ يَصْنَعُ قَالَ «يَتَحَوَّلُ عَنْهَا وَ لاَ يَنْبَغِي أَنْ يُرْفَعَ بِنَاءٌ فَوْقَ اَلْكَعْبَةِ ».
Hadith. 2338 - It has been narrated by Al-‘Ala’ from Muhammad ibn Muslim, from Abu Ja‘far (as), who said: "It is not appropriate for a person to reside in Mecca for a full year. "
I asked: "What should he do? "
Imam (as) replied: "He should move away from it. Also, it is not appropriate for any building to be raised higher than the Kaaba. "
