نَوَادِرُ الرَّاوَنْدِيِّ، بِإِسْنَادِهِ عَنْ مُوسَى بْنِ جَعْفَرٍ عَنْ آبَائِهِ ع قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ص الْمُؤْمِنُ كَمِثْلِ شَجَرَةٍ لَا يَتَحَاتُّ وَرَقُهَا شِتَاءً وَ لَا قَيْظاً قِيلَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ وَ مَا هِيَ قَالَ النَّخْلَةُ.
(The book) ‘Nawadir’ of Al Rawandy – By his chain, ‘From Musa-asws Bin Ja’far-asws, from his-asws forefathers-asws having said: ‘Rasool-Allah-saww said: ‘The Momin is like a tree neither shedding its leaves in winter nor in (summer) heat’. It was said, ‘O Rasool-Allah-saww! And what (tree) is it? ’ He-asws said: ‘The date tree’’. [27]
