ع، علل الشرائع ل، الخصال عَنِ الْقَطَّانِ عَنِ ابْنِ زَكَرِيَّا عَنِ ابْنِ حَبِيبٍ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ حَسَّانَ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ كَثِيرٍ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ع قَالَ: إِنَّ الْكَبَائِرَ سَبْعٌ فِينَا نَزَلَتْ وَ مِنَّا اسْتُحِلَّتْ فَأَوَّلُهَا الشِّرْكُ بِاللَّهِ الْعَظِيمِ وَ قَتْلُ النَّفْسِ الَّتِي حَرَّمَ اللَّهُ وَ أَكْلُ مَالِ الْيَتِيمِ وَ عُقُوقُ الْوَالِدَيْنِ وَ قَذْفُ الْمُحْصَنَةِ وَ الْفِرَارُ مِنَ الزَّحْفِ وَ إِنْكَارُ حَقِّنَا
فَأَمَّا الشِّرْكُ بِاللَّهِ فَقَدْ أَنْزَلَ اللَّهُ فِينَا مَا أَنْزَلَ وَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ص فِينَا مَا قَالَ فَكَذَّبُوا اللَّهَ وَ كَذَّبُوا رَسُولَهُ وَ أَشْرَكُوا بِاللَّهِ عَزَّ وَ جَلَّ
وَ أَمَّا قَتْلُ النَّفْسِ الَّتِي حَرَّمَ اللَّهُ فَقَدْ قَتَلُوا الْحُسَيْنَ بْنَ عَلِيٍّ ع وَ أَصْحَابَهُ
وَ أَمَّا أَكْلُ مَالِ الْيَتِيمِ فَقَدْ ذَهَبُوا بِفَيْئِنَا الَّذِي جَعَلَهُ اللَّهُ لَنَا فَأَعْطَوْهُ غَيْرَنَا
وَ أَمَّا عُقُوقُ الْوَالِدَيْنِ فَقَدْ أَنْزَلَ اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَ جَلَّ فِي كِتَابِهِ النَّبِيُّ أَوْلى بِالْمُؤْمِنِينَ مِنْ أَنْفُسِهِمْ وَ أَزْواجُهُ أُمَّهاتُهُمْ فَعَقُّوا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ص فِي ذُرِّيَّتِهِ وَ عَقُّوا أُمَّهُمْ خَدِيجَةَ فِي ذُرِّيَّتِهَا
وَ أَمَّا قَذْفُ الْمُحْصَنَةِ فَقَدْ قَذَفُوا فَاطِمَةَ عَلَى مَنَابِرِهِمْ
وَ أَمَّا الْفِرَارُ مِنَ الزَّحْفِ فَقَدْ أَعْطَوْا أَمِيرَ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ بَيْعَتَهُمْ طَائِعِينَ غَيْرَ مُكْرَهِينَ فَفَرُّوا عَنْهُ وَ خَذَلُوهُ
وَ أَمَّا إِنْكَارُ حَقِّنَا فَهَذَا مَا لَا يَتَنَازَعُونَ فِيهِ.
(The book) ‘Ilal Al Sharaie’, (and) ‘Al Khisaal’ – from Ibn Zakariya, from Ibn Habeeb, from Muhammad Bin Abdullah, from Ali Bin Hassan, from Abdul Al Rahman Bin Kaseer, From Abu Abdullah-asws having said: ‘The major sins are seven, regarding us-asws it was Revealed and from us-asws it is released. The first of is Shirk (association) with Allah-azwj the Magnificent; and killing the soul which Allah-azwj has Prohibited; and consuming wealth of the orphan; and disobeying the parents; and slandering the married women; and fleeing from the battle march; and denying our-asws rights. As for the Shirk with Allah-azwj, so Allah-azwj has Revealed regarding us-asws what He-azwj has Revealed, and Rasool-Allah-saww said regarding us-asws what he-saww said. But they belied Allah‑azwj and belied His-azwj Rasool-saww and associated with Allah-azwj Mighty and Majestic. And as for killing the soul which Allah-azwj has Prohibited, so they killed Al-Husayn-asws Bin Ali‑asws and his-asws companions. And as for consuming wealth of the orphan, so they went with our-asws war booty (Fey) which Allah-azwj had Made it to be for us-asws, and they gave it to others. And as for disobeying the parents, so Allah-saww Mighty and Majestic has Revealed in His-azwj Book: The Prophet is foremost with the Momineen than their own selves, and his wives are their mothers; [33: 6]. They disobeyed Rasool-Allah-saww regarding his-saww offspring, and they disobeyed their mother-as (Syeda) Khadeeja-as regarding her-as offspring. And as for accusing the married women, so they had accused (Syeda) Fatima-asws upon their pulpits. And as for the fleeing from the battle march, they had given their allegiances to Amir Al-Momineen-asws willingly, without having been forced, but they fled from him-asws and abandoned him-asws. As for denying our-asws rights, so this is what they are not even disputing regarding it’’. [6]
