الْبَلَدُ، وَ الْجُنَّةُ، جُنَّةُ الْأَمَانِ وَ الْمُلْحَقَاتُ، دُعَاءٌ آخَرُ لِلسَّجَّادِ ع بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمنِ الرَّحِيمِ الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ الَّذِي جَعَلَ اللَّيْلَ لِبَاساً وَ النَّوْمَ سُبَاتاً وَ جَعَلَ النَّهَارَ نُشُوراً لَكَ الْحَمْدُ أَنْ بَعَثْتَنِي مِنْ مَرْقَدِي وَ لَوْ شِئْتَ جَعَلْتَهُ سَرْمَداً حَمْداً دَائِماً لَا يَنْقَطِعُ أَبَداً وَ لَا يُحْصِي لَهُ الْخَلَائِقُ عَدَداً
اللَّهُمَّ لَكَ الْحَمْدُ أَنْ خَلَقْتَ فَسَوَّيْتَ وَ قَدَّرْتَ وَ قَضَيْتَ وَ أَمَتَّ وَ أَحْيَيْتَ وَ أَمْرَضْتَ وَ شَفَيْتَ وَ عَافَيْتَ وَ أَبْلَيْتَ وَ عَلَى الْعَرْشِ اسْتَوَيْتَ وَ عَلَى الْمُلْكِ احْتَوَيْتَ
أَدْعُوكَ دُعَاءَ مَنْ ضَعُفَتْ وَسِيلَتُهُ وَ انْقَطَعَتْ حِيلَتُهُ وَ اقْتَرَبَ أَجَلُهُ وَ تَدَانَى فِي الدُّنْيَا أَمَلُهُ وَ اشْتَدَّتْ إِلَى رَحْمَتِكَ فَاقَتُهُ وَ عَظُمَتْ لِتَفْرِيطِهِ حَسْرَتُهُ وَ كَثُرَتْ زَلَّتُهُ وَ عَثْرَتُهُ وَ خَلُصَتْ لِوَجْهِكَ تَوْبَتُهُ
فَصَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ خَاتَمِ النَّبِيِّينَ وَ عَلَى أَهْلِ بَيْتِهِ الطَّيِّبِينَ الطَّاهِرِينَ وَ ارْزُقْنِي شَفَاعَةَ مُحَمَّدٍ ص وَ لَا تَحْرِمْنِي صُحْبَتَهُ إِنَّكَ أَنْتَ أَرْحَمُ الرَّاحِمِينَ
اللَّهُمَّ اقْضِ لِي فِي الْأَرْبِعَاءِ أَرْبَعاً اجْعَلْ قُوَّتِي فِي طَاعَتِكَ وَ نَشَاطِي فِي عِبَادَتِكَ وَ رَغْبَتِي فِي ثَوَابِكَ وَ زُهْدِي فِيمَا يُوجِبُ لِي أَلِيمَ عِقَابِكَ إِنَّكَ لَطِيفٌ لِمَا تَشَاءُ.
(The books) ‘Al Balad’, and ‘Junnat Al Amaan’, and ‘Al Mulhaqaat’ –
‘Another supplication of (Imam) Al-Sajjad-asws – ‘The Praise is for Allah-azwj Who Made the night as an apparel, and the sleep as rest, and Made the day for dispersal (for seeking livelihood)! For You-azwj is the Praise for Resurrecting me from my sleep, and had You-azwj so Desired, You‑azwj could have Made it continuous, and permanent Praise not terminating, ever, and the creatures of His-azwj cannot be counted in number! O Allah-azwj! For You-azwj is the Praise! You-azwj Created so You-azwj Completed, and You-azwj Determined, and Decreed, and Caused to die, and Caused to live, and Caused sickness, and Healed, and Granted well-being, and Tried, and You-azwj Evened upon the Throne, and Surrounded upon the Kingdom! I supplicate to You-azwj a supplication of the one whose means has weakened, and his means are cut off, and his death has drawn near, and his hopes are low in the world, and his destitution to Your-azwj Mercy has intensified, and his regret as magnified due to his excessive, and his slips and his stumbles are many, and his repentance is sincere to Your-azwj Face! Send Salawaat upon Muhammad-azwj, last of the Prophets, and upon People-asws of his-saww Household, the goodly, the pure, and Grace me intercession of Muhammad-saww and do not Deprive me of his-saww accompaniment, surely You-azwj are most Merciful of the merciful ones! O Allah-azwj! Decree four for me during the Wednesday – Make my strength in Your-azwj obedience, and my activity in Your-azwj worship, and my desire regarding Your-azwj Rewards, and my ascetism in what obligates the pain of Your-azwj Punishment for me! Surely, You-azwj are Compassionate to what You-azwj Desire! ’’[47]
