هُ وَ عَظُمَ جُرْمُهُ وَ ضَعُفَ كَدْحُهُ وَ أَشْرَفَتْ عَلَى الْهَلَكَةِ نَفْسَهُ وَ لَمْ يَجِدْ لِفَاقَتِهِ مُغِيثاً وَ لَا لِكَسْرِهِ جَابِراً وَ لَا لِذَنْبِهِ غَافِراً غَيْرَكَ
وَ أَدْعُوكَ دُعَاءَ فَقِيرٍ إِلَى رَحْمَتِكَ إِلَهِي غَيْرَ مُسْتَنْكِفٍ وَ لَا مُسْتَكْبِرٍ دُعَاءَ بِائِسٍ فَقِيرٍ خَائِفٍ مُسْتَجِيرٍ وَ أَدْعُوكَ بِأَنَّكَ الْحَنَّانُ الْمَنَّانُ بَدِيعُ السَّماواتِ وَ الْأَرْضِ ذُو الْجَلالِ وَ الْإِكْرامِ عالِمُ الْغَيْبِ وَ الشَّهادَةِ الرَّحْمنُ الرَّحِيمُ
أَنْ تُقَلِّبَنِي الْيَوْمَ لِرِضَاكَ عَنِّي وَ عِتْقَ رَقَبَتِي مِنَ النَّارِ عِتْقاً لَا رِقَّ بَعْدَهُ وَ تَجْعَلَنِي مِنَ طُلَقَائِكَ وَ مُحَرِّرِيكَ وَ تُشْهِدَ عَلَى ذَلِكَ مَلَائِكَتَكَ وَ أَنْبِيَاءَكَ وَ رُسُلَكَ فِي كِتَابٍ لَا يُبَدَّلُ وَ لَا يُغَيَّرُ حَتَّى أَلْقَاكَ وَ أَنْتَ عَنِّي رَاضٍ وَ أَنَا لَدَيْكَ مَرْضِيٌّ
وَ أَنْ تُعَافِيَنِي فِي كُلِّ مَوْطِنٍ وَ تَنْصُرَنِي عَلَى كُلِّ عَدُوٍّ وَ تَوَلَّانِي فِي كُلِّ مَقَامٍ وَ تُنْجِيَنِي مِنْ كُلِّ عَدُوٍّ وَ تُفَرِّجَ عَنِّي كُلَّ كَرْبٍ وَ تُهَوِّنُ لِي كُلَّ سَبِيلٍ وَ تَرْزُقَنِي كُلَّ بَرَكَةٍ وَ أَنْ تَسْمَعَ لِي إِذَا دَعَوْتُ وَ تَغْفِرَ لِي إِذَا سَهَوْتُ وَ تَتَقَبَّلَ مِنِّي إِذَا صَلَّيْتُ وَ تَسْتَجِيبَ لِي إِذَا دَعَوْتُ وَ تَتَجَاوَزَ عَنِّي إِذَا لَهَوْتُ
وَ لَا تُعَاقِبَنِي فِيمَا أَتَيْتُ وَ هَبْ لِي صَالِحَ مَا نَوَيْتُ وَ هَبْ لِي مِنَ الْخَيْرِ فَوْقَ الَّذِي سَمَّيْتُ وَ تَقَبَّلْ مِنِّي وَ تَجَاوَزْ عَنِّي وَ عَافِنِي وَ اغْفِرْ لِي وَ امْنُنْ عَلَيَّ وَ ارْحَمْنِي وَ تُبْ عَلَيَّ وَ ارْضَ عَنِّي وَ وَفِّقْنِي لَمَّا يَنْفَعُنِي وَ اصْرِفْ عَنِّي مَا يَضُرُّنِي وَ اكْفِنِي مَا أَهَمَّنِي
وَ لَا تَمْقُتْنِي وَ لَا تُعَاقِبْنِي وَ لَا تُخْزِنِي وَ أَكْرِمْنِي وَ لَا تُهِنِّي وَ أَصْلِحْنِي وَ هَبْ لِي كُلَّ شَيْءٍ يُصْلِحُنِي وَ أَعْظِمْ أَجْرِي وَ أَحْسِنْ ثَوَابِي وَ بَيِّضْ وَجْهِي وَ أَكْرِمْ مَدْخَلِي وَ قَرِّبْنِي مِنْكَ وَ أَكْرِمْنِي بِرَحْمَتِكَ آمِينَ رَبَّ الْعَالَمِينَ
وَ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ خَاتَمِ النَّبِيِّينَ وَ آلِهِ الطَّيِّبِينَ الْأَخْيَارِ الْأَبْرَارِ الَّذِينَ لا خَوْفٌ عَلَيْهِمْ وَ لا هُمْ يَحْزَنُونَ.
j Presence, and their swiftest of Response from You-azwj! And I supplicate to You-azwj a supplication of the ones his destitution has intensified, and his crimes are mighty, and his toil is weak, and he is overlooking upon the destruction of his soul, and he cannot find any helper for his destitution, nor any redress for his distress, nor any forgiver for his sins apart from You-azwj! And I supplicate to You-azwj a supplication by one needy to Your-azwj Mercy, my God-azwj, nor being disdainful nor arrogant, a supplication of a wretched poor seeking shelter, and I supplicate to You-azwj because You-azwj are the Affectionate, the Benefactor, initiator of the skies and the earth, with the Majesty and the Honours, Knower of the unseen and the seen, the Beneficent, the Merciful! Turn me today to Your-azwj Satisfaction, and Liberate my neck from the Hellfire with a liberation there being no servitude after it, and Make me from Your-azwj Liberated ones, and Your-azwj Freed ones, and that is testified upon by Your-azwj Angels, and Your-azwj Prophets-as and Your-azwj Messengers-as in a Book neither to be replaced nor changed until I meet You-azwj while You-azwj are Satisfied with me and I am satisfactory in Your-azwj Presence! And Grant me well-being in every place, and Help me upon every enemy, and Guard me in every position, and Rescue me from every enemy, and Relieve from me every distress, and Ease for me every way, and Grace me every Blessing, and Listen to me when I supplicate, and Forgive for me when I make omissions, and Accept from me when I pray Salat, and Respond to me when I supplicate, and Overlook from me when I am heedless! And do not Punish me regarding what I commit, and Gift to me righteous of what I intend, and Gift to me from the goodness above which I have named, and Accept from me, and Overlook from me, and Pardon me, and Forgive for me, and Confer upon me, and Mercy me, and Turn to me, and be Satisfied with me, and Harmonise me to what benefits me, and Turn away from me what harms me, and Suffice me of what worries me! And do not Detest me, nor Punish me, nor Disgrace me, and Honour me and do not Demean me, and Rectify me, and Grant to me all things which would rectify me, and Magnify my Recompense, and Make excellent my Rewards, and Brighten my face, and Honour my entry, and Draw me closer to You-azwj, and Honour me by Your-azwj Mercy, Lord-azwj of the worlds! And may Allah-azwj Send Salawaat upon Muhammad-saww, last of the Prophets-as and his-saww Progeny-asws, the goodly, the best, the righteous, those there will neither be fear upon them‑asws nor will they-asws be grieving! ’’[53]
