Hadith 3

detail of all the affairs, Make me from people of Your-azwj religion, the ones preferring it by their necessitation its right, and Your-azwj Freeing of their hearts for the desiring in fulfilling Your-azwj rights to You-azwj! By the right of Your-azwj Name in which is detail of the affairs and its interpretation, do not Make something besides Your-azwj religion to be preferrable with me, nor of intensely loving to me, nor sticking with me, nor my cutting off to it from it, and Overcome my mind and my whims, and my secrets and my announcements by Seizing me with my forelock to obey You‑azwj and Satisfy You-azwj in the religion! ’’[10]
And it is what is reported by my chain to my grandfather Abu Ja’far Al Tusi, may Allah-azwj be Satisfied with him. He said, ‘It is reported from Ja’far-asws Bin Muhammad-asws having said: ‘It was so, whenever the sun declined Ali-asws Bin Al Husayn-asws prayed Salat then supplicated, then send Salawaat upon the Prophet-saww. He-asws said: ‘O Allah-azwj! Send Salawaat upon Muhammad-saww and Progeny-asws of Muhammad-saww, tree (lineage) of the Prophet-hood, and place of the Message, and interchange of the Angels, and the mine of knowledge, and People-asws of the house of Revelation! O Allah-azwj! Send Salawaat upon Muhammad-saww and Progeny -asws of Muhammad-saww, the ship sailing in the deep waves. Safe is the one sailing it, and drowned is the one neglecting it. The one preceding them-asws is a deviant and the one falling behind from them is obliterated, and the one sticking to them-asws joins (with them-asws)! O Allah-azwj! Send Salawaat upon Muhammad-saww and Progeny-asws of Muhammad-saww, the fortified cave, and helpers of the desperate, and shelter of the fleers, and rescuer of the fearful, and protection of the one holding tightly! O Allah-azwj! Send Salawaat upon Muhammad-saww and Progeny-asws of Muhammad-saww, abundant Salawaat being satisfactory for them-asws, and Grant Muhammad-saww and Progeny‑asws of Muhammad-saww fulfilment and accomplishment by Mighty from You-azwj and Strength, O Lord-azwj of the worlds! O Allah-azwj! Send Salawaat upon Muhammad-saww and Progeny-asws of Muhammad-saww, those whose rights are obligated, and obedience to them-asws and their-asws Wilayah is Imposed! O Allah-azwj! Send Salawaat upon Muhammad-saww and Progeny-asws of Muhammad-saww, and Fill my heart with obeying You-azwj and do not let it be disgraced by disobeying You-azwj, and Grace me consoling the one whom You-azwj have restricted upon of Your-azwj sustenance from what You-azwj have Expanded upon me from Your-azwj Grace, and Sprinkled upon me from Your‑azwj Justice! The Praise is for Allah-azwj upon every bounty, and I seek Forgiveness of Allah-azwj from every sin, and there is neither might nor strength except with Allah-azwj from every horror! ’’[11]
Then he said, ‘And it is reported from Ja’far-asws Bin Muhammad-asws having said: ‘It was so, whenever the sun declined, Ali-asws Bin Al-Husayn-asws prayed Salat and supplicated, then sent Salawaat upon the Prophet-saww. He-asws said: ‘O Allah-azwj! Send Salawaat upon Muhammad-saww and Progeny‑asws of Muhammad-saww, tree (lineage) of the Prophet-hood’ – up to its end’’. [12]
