الحديث 50

ْدِرُ عَلَيْهِ. 83 وَ رُوِّينَا عَنْ جَعْفَرِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ ع أَنَّهُ قَالَ: وَ أَمَّا مَا يَجِبُ عَلَى الْعِبَادِ فِي أَعْمَارِهِمْ مَرَّةً وَاحِدَةً فَهُوَ الْحَجُّ فُرِضَ عَلَيْهِمْ مَرَّةً وَاحِدَةً لِبُعْدِ الْأَمْكِنَةِ وَ الْمَشَقَّةِ عَلَيْهِمْ فِي الْأَنْفُسِ وَ الْأَمْوَالِ وَ الْحَجُّ فُرِضَ عَلَى النَّاسِ جَمِيعاً إِلَّا مَنْ كَانَ لَهُ عُذْرٌ. 84 وَ عَنْ عَلِيٍّ ع أَنَّهُ قَالَ: لَمَّا نَزَلَتْ وَ لِلَّهِ عَلَى النَّاسِ حِجُّ الْبَيْتِ الْآيَةَ قَالَ الْمُؤْمِنُونَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ص أَ فِي كُلِّ عَامٍ فَسَكَتَ فَأَعَادُوا عَلَيْهِ مَرَّتَيْنِ
فَقَالَ لَا وَ لَوْ قَالَ نَعَمْ لَوَجَبَتْ فَأَنْزَلَ اللَّهُ يا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا لا تَسْئَلُوا عَنْ أَشْياءَ إِنْ تُبْدَ لَكُمْ تَسُؤْكُمْ. 85 وَ عَنْ جَعْفَرِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ ع أَنَّهُ سُئِلَ عَنِ الرَّجُلِ يُسَوِّفُ الْحَجَّ لَا تَمْنَعُهُ إِلَّا تِجَارَةٌ تَشْغَلُهُ أَوْ دَيْنٌ لَهُ قَالَ لَا عُذْرَ لَهُ لَيْسَ يَنْبَغِي لَهُ أَنْ يُسَوِّفَ الْحَجَّ وَ إِنْ مَاتَ فَقَدْ تَرَكَ شَرِيعَةً مِنْ شَرَائِعِ الْإِسْلَامِ. 86 وَ عَنْهُ ع أَنَّهُ قَالَ: مَنْ مَاتَ وَ لَمْ يَحُجَّ حَجَّةَ الْإِسْلَامِ وَ لَمْ تَمْنَعْهُ مِنْ ذَلِكَ حَاجَةٌ تُجْحِفُ بِهِ أَوْ مَرَضٌ لَا يُطِيقُ فِيهِ الْحَجَّ أَوْ سُلْطَانٌ يَمْنَعُهُ فَلْيَمُتْ يَهُودِيّاً أَوْ نَصْرَانِيّاً. 87 وَ عَنْهُ ص أَنَّهُ سُئِلَ عَنْ رَجُلٍ لَهُ مَالٌ لَمْ يَحُجَّ حَتَّى مَاتَ قَالَ هَذَا مِمَّنْ قَالَ اللَّهُ وَ نَحْشُرُهُ يَوْمَ الْقِيامَةِ أَعْمى
قِيلَ أَعْمَى
قَالَ نَعَمْ أَعْمَى عَنْ طَرِيقِ الْخَيْرِ. 88 وَ عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ص أَنَّهُ قَالَ: إِذَا تَرَكَتْ أُمَّتِي هَذَا الْبَيْتَ أَنْ تَؤُمَّهُ لَمْ تُنَاظَرْ. 89 وَ عَنْ جَعْفَرِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ ع أَنَّهُ سُئِلَ عَنْ قَوْلِ اللَّهِ عَزَّ وَ جَلَ وَ لِلَّهِ عَلَى النَّاسِ حِجُّ الْبَيْتِ مَنِ اسْتَطاعَ إِلَيْهِ سَبِيلًا مَا اسْتِطَاعَةُ السَّبِيلِ الَّذِي عَنَى اللَّهُ
فَقَالَ لِلسَّائِلِ مَا يَقُولُ النَّاسُ فِي هَذَا
قَالَ يَقُولُونَ الزَّادُ وَ الرَّاحِلَةُ
فَقَالَ أَبُو عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ع قَدْ سُئِلَ أَبُو جَعْفَرٍ ع عَنْ ذَلِكَ فَقَالَ هَلَكَ النَّاسُ إِذاً لَئِنْ كَانَ مَنْ لَيْسَ لَهُ غَيْرُ زَادٍ وَ رَاحِلَةٍ وَ لَيْسَ لِعِيَالِهِ قُوتٌ غَيْرَ ذَلِكَ يَنْطَلِقُ بِهِ وَ يَدَعُهُمْ لَقَدْ هَلَكُوا
إِذاً قِيلَ لَهُ فَمَا الِاسْتِطَاعَةُ
قَالَ اسْتَطَاعَةُ السَّفَرِ وَ الْكِفَايَةُ مِنَ النَّفَقَةِ فِيهِ وَ وُجُودُ مَا يَقُوتُ الْعِيَالَ وَ الْأَمْنُ أَ لَيْسَ قَدْ فَرَضَ اللَّهُ الزَّكَاةَ فَلَمْ يَجْعَلْهَا إِلَّا
at is obligated upon the servants during their lifetimes one time, it is the Hajj. It is obligated upon them one time due to their remote places and the hardships upon them regarding themselves and the wealth; and the Hajj is incumbent upon all the people except the one who has an excuse for it’’. [85]
And from Ali-asws, he-asws said: ‘When it was Revealed: And for the Sake of Allah, Hajj of the House [3: 97] – the Verse, the believers said, ‘O Rasool-Allah-saww! Is it during every year? ’ He‑saww was silent, so they reiterated upon him-saww twice. He-saww said: ‘No! ’ And had he-saww said: ‘Yes’, it would have been obligated. Allah-azwj Revealed: O you who believe! Do not ask about things, if it is declared to you it would offend you; [5: 101]’’. [86]
And from Ja’far-asws Bin Muhammad-asws, he-asws was asked about the man procrastinating (from) the Hajj. Nothing prevents him except the trading pre-occupying him, or there are debts for him. He-asws said: ‘There is no excuse for him. It isn’t befitting for him to procrastinate (from) the Hajj, and if he dies, he would have neglected a Law from the Laws of ’’. [87]
And from him-asws having said: ‘One who dies and did not perform Hajj of, and he was not prevented from that by a need he was prejudiced by, or a sickness as a reason he could not endure the Hajj, or a ruler preventing him, so let him die as a Jew or a Christian! ’’[88]
And from him-saww, he-saww was asked about a man having wealth for him. He did not perform Hajj until he died. He-saww said: ‘This is from the ones Allah-azwj Said: and We will Resurrect him on the Day of Judgment as blind [20: 124]’. It was said, ‘Blind! ’
He-saww said: ‘Yes, blind from the path of goodness’’. [89]
And from Rasool-Allah-saww, he-saww said: ‘If my-saww community were to neglect this House (Kabah) by not visiting it, they will not be respited’’. [90]
And from Ja’far Bin Muhammad-asws, he-asws was asked about Words of Allah-azwj Mighty and Majestic: And for the Sake of Allah, Hajj of the House is incumbent upon the people for the one has the capacity for a way to it; [3: 97], ‘What is the capacity for the way which Allah-azwj Means? ’
He-asws to the questioner, ‘What are the people are saying regarding this? ’
He said, ‘They are saying (it is) the provision and the ride’. Abu Abdullah-asws said: ‘Abu Ja’far-asws had been asked about that. He-asws had said: ‘The people would be destroyed then, if there was one who hasn’t for him other than provision and a ride, and there isn’t any subsistence for his dependants other than that, he goes and leaves them. They would be destroyed then! ’
Then is wat said to him, ‘So what is the ‘capacity’? ’
He-asws said: ‘Capacity for the journey and the sufficiency of the expenditure in it, and finding what the dependants can subsist with, and the security. Hasn’t Allah-azwj Obligated the Zakat but did not Make it except upon the one having two hundred Dirhams for him? ’
