وَ أَنَا مِنْ عَلِيٍّ وَ إِنَّ حَظَّهُ فِي الْخُمُسِ أَكْثَرُ مِمَّا أَخَذَ وَ هُوَ وَلِيُّ كُلِّ مُؤْمِنٍ مِنْ بَعْدِي. الْخَبَرُ الرَّابِعَ عَشَرَ كُنْتُ أَنَا وَ عَلِيٌّ نُوراً بَيْنَ يَدَيِ اللَّهِ عَزَّ وَ جَلَّ قَبْلَ أَنْ يَخْلُقَ آدَمَ بِأَرْبَعَةَ عَشَرَ أَلْفَ عَامٍ فَلَمَّا خَلَقَ آدَمَ قَسَمَ ذَلِكَ النُّورَ فِيهِ وَ جَعَلَهُ جُزْءَيْنِ فَجُزْءٌ أَنَا وَ جُزْءٌ عَلِيٌّ. رَوَاهُ أَحْمَدُ فِي الْمُسْنَدِ وَ فِي كِتَابِ فَضَائِلِ عَلِيٍّ ع وَ ذَكَرَهُ صَاحِبُ كِتَابِ الْفِرْدَوْسِ وَ زَادَ فِيهِ ثُمَّ انْتَقَلْنَا حَتَّى صِرْنَا فِي عَبْدِ الْمُطَّلِبِ فَكَانَ لِيَ النُّبُوَّةُ وَ لِعَلِيٍّ الْوَصِيَّةُ. الْخَبَرُ الْخَامِسَ عَشَرَ النَّظَرُ إِلَى وَجْهِكَ يَا عَلِيُّ عِبَادَةٌ أَنْتَ سَيِّدٌ فِي الدُّنْيَا وَ سَيِّدٌ فِي الْآخِرَةِ مَنْ أَحَبَّكَ أَحَبَّنِي وَ حَبِيبِي حَبِيبُ اللَّهِ وَ عَدُوُّكَ عَدُوِّي وَ عَدُوِّي عَدُوُّ اللَّهِ الْوَيْلُ لِمَنْ أَبْغَضَكَ. رَوَاهُ أَحْمَدُ فِي الْمُسْنَدِ قَالَ وَ كَانَ ابْنُ عَبَّاسٍ يُفَسِّرُهُ فَيَقُولُ إِنَّ مَنْ يَنْظُرُ إِلَيْهِ يَقُولُ سُبْحَانَ اللَّهِ مَا أَعْلَمَ هَذَا الْفَتَى سُبْحَانَ اللَّهِ مَا أَشْجَعَ هَذَا الْفَتَى سُبْحَانَ اللَّهِ مَا أَفْصَحَ هَذَا الْفَتَى. الْحَدِيثُ السَّادِسَ عَشَرَ لَمَّا كَانَتْ لَيْلَةُ بَدْرٍ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ص مَنْ يَسْتَقِي لَنَا مَاءً فَأَحْجَمَ النَّاسُ فَقَامَ عَلِيٌّ فَاحْتَضَنَ قِرْبَةً ثُمَّ أَتَى بِئْراً بَعِيدَةَ الْقَعْرِ مُظْلِمَةً فَانْحَدَرَ فِيهَا فَأَوْحَى اللَّهُ إِلَى جَبْرَئِيلَ وَ مِيكَائِيلَ وَ إِسْرَافِيلَ أَنْ تَأَهَّبُوا لِنَصْرِ مُحَمَّدٍ وَ أَخِيهِ وَ حِزْبِهِ
فَهَبَطُوا عَنِ السَّمَاءِ لَهُمْ لَغَطٌ يُذْعَرُ مَنْ يَسْمَعُهُ فَلَمَّا حَاذُوا الْبِئْرَ سَلَّمُوا عَلَيْهِ مِنْ عِنْدِ آخِرِهِمْ إِكْرَاماً لَهُ وَ إِجْلَالًا. رَوَاهُ أَحْمَدُ فِي كِتَابِ فَضَائِلِ عَلِيٍّ ع وَ زَادَ فِيهِ فِي طَرِيقٍ آخَرَ عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ لَتُؤْتَيَنَّ يَا عَلِيُّ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ بِنَاقَةٍ مِنْ نُوقِ الْجَنَّةِ فَتَرْكَبُهَا وَ رُكْبَتُكَ مَعَ رُكْبَتِي وَ فَخِذُكَ مَعَ فَخِذِي حَتَّى نَدْخُلَ الْجَنَّةَ. الْحَدِيثُ السَّابِعَ عَشَرَ خَطَبَ ص النَّاسَ يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ فَقَالَ أَيُّهَا النَّاسُ قَدِّمُوا قُرَيْشاً وَ لَا تَقَدَّمُوهَا وَ تَعَلَّمُوا مِنْهَا وَ لَا تُعَلِّمُوهَا قُوَّةُ رَجُلٍ مِنْ قُرَيْشٍ تَعْدِلُ قُوَّةَ رَجُلَيْنِ مِنْ غَيْرِهِمْ وَ أَمَانَةُ رَجُلٍ مِنْ قُرَيْشٍ تَعْدِلُ أَمَانَةَ رَجُلَيْنِ مِنْ غَيْرِهِمْ
أَيُّهَا النَّاسُ أُوصِيكُمْ بِحُبِّ ذِي قُرْبَاهَا أَخِي وَ ابْنِ عَمِّي عَلِيِّ بْنِ أَبِي طَا
ws were Noor in front of Allah-azwj Mighty and Majestic before He-azwj Created Adam-as by fourteen thousand years. When He-azwj had Created Adam-as, He-azwj Divided that Noor to be in him-as and Made it into two segments. So, I-saww was a segment and Ali-asws was a segment’’. [209]
It is reported by Ahmad in ‘Al-Musnad’, and in ‘Kitab Fazaail Ali-asws’, and it is mentioned by the author of the book ‘Al-Firdows’, and there is an addition in it: ‘Then we-asws were transferred until we-asws came to be in Abdul Muttalib-asws. The Prophet-hood was for me-saww and for Ali-asws was the successorship’’. [210]
The fifteenth Hadeeth – The looking at your-asws face, O Ali-asws, is worship. You-asws are a chief in the world and a chief in the Hereafter. One loving you-asws loves me-saww, and my-saww beloved is beloved of Allah-azwj, and your-asws enemy is my-saww enemy, and my-saww enemy is an enemy of Allah-azwj. Woe be to the one hating you-asws! ’’
And it is reported by Ahmad in ‘Al-Musnad’ who said, ‘And Ibn Abbas used to interpret it saying, ‘The one who looks at him-asws saying ‘Glory be to Allah-azwj! How knowledgeable is this youth! Glory be to Allah-azwj! How brave is this youth! Glory be to Allah-azwj! How eloquent is this youth! ’’[211]
The sixteenth Hadeeth – When it was the night of Badr, Rasool-Allah-saww said: ‘Who will fetch water for us? ’ The people recoiled, and Ali-asws stood up and took a container. Then he-asws went to a dark well far away. He-asws rolled (the bucket) into it. Allah-azwj Revealed to Jibraeel-as and Mikaeel-as and Israfeel-as: “Go down to help Muhammad-saww and his-saww brother-asws and his-saww party! ”
They descended from the sky to them with thunderous noise, frightening the one who heard it. When they were at the well, they-as greeted unto him-asws on behalf of Allah-azwj, to their-as last one, as an honour and reverence’’. [212]
It is reported by Ahmad in the book ‘Fazaail Ali-asws’, and there is an addition in another way from Anas Bin Malik (well-known fabricator), ‘O Ali-asws! On the Day of Qiyamah, you-asws will be given a camel from the camels of Paradise. You-asws will ride it, and your-asws riding will be with my-saww riding, and your-asws thigh with my-saww thigh, until we-asws enter the Paradise’’. [213]
The seventeenth Hadeeth – He-saww addressed the people on the day of Friday. He-saww said: ‘O you people! Place Quraysh forwards and do not go ahead of them and learn from them and do not teach them. The strength of one man from Quraysh equates to the strength of two men from others, and trustworthiness of one man from Quraysh equates to trustworthiness of two men from others! O you people! I-saww bequeath you all to love their kindred, my-saww brother-asws and son-asws of my-saww uncle-as, Ali-asws Bin Abu Talib-asws. No one will love him-asws except a Momin, nor hate him-asws except a hypocrite. One who loves him-asws, so he has loved me-asws, and one hating him-asws has hated me-saww, and one who hates me-saww, Allah-azwj will Punish him with the Fire’’. [214]
