Hadith 96

From one of the books of virtues, by his chain from Usama who said, ‘I passed by Ali-asws and Al-Abbas, and they were seated in the Masjid. They said, ‘O Usama! Seek permission for us to see Rasool-Allah-saww! ’ I said, ‘O Rasool-Allah-saww! This is Ali-asws and Al-Abbas, seeking permission’. He-saww said: ‘Do you know what they have come for? ’ I said, ‘No, by Allah-azwj! I do not know’. He-saww said: ‘But I-saww do know what they have come for’. He-saww permitted to them. They entered and greeted, then were seated. They said, ‘O Rasool-Allah-saww! Which of your-saww family members is most beloved to you-saww? ’ He-saww said: ‘(Syeda) Fatima-asws’’. [183] (This is a clear fabrication. Ali-asws does not need Usama to get him-asws permission to see Rasool-Allah-saww)
And by his chain from Abdullah in Al Zubeyr, from his father, from Ayesha (well-known fabricatress), ‘Whenever she remembered ‘(Syeda) Fatima-asws daughter-asws of the Prophet-saww, she said, ‘I have not seen anyone who was of a more truthful tone than her-asws, except it happened to be the one who begot her-asws’’. [184]
And by his chain, from Ahmad Bin Muhammad Al Sa’alby, from Abdullah Bin Hamid, from Abu muhammad Al Muzanny, from Abu Ya’la Al Mowsily, from Sahl Bin Zanjalah Al Razy, from Abdullah Bin Salih, from Ibn Lahiya, from Muhammad Bin Al Munkadir, from Jabir Bin Abdullah, ‘The Prophet-saww stayed for days not having eaten food, until that was grievous upon him-asws, and he-saww went around in the houses of his-saww wives, but could not attain anything from any one of them. He-saww went to (his-saww daughter) ‘(Syeda) Fatima-asws. He-saww said: ‘O daughter! Is there anything with you-asws I-saww can eat, for I-saww and hungry? ’ She-asws said: ‘No, by Allah-azwj! May my-asws father-saww and my-asws mother-asws be (sacrificed) for you-asws! ’
When he-saww went out from her-asws presence, a neighbour of hers-asws sent two loaves and a p
