﷽

at. A vanguard of the Muslims (army) stood upon us until it happened from my matter what you saw and witness, and no was aware that I am a daughter of a king of Rome until this point apart from you, and that is because I have notified you upon it. And the Sheykh in whose share of booty I had fallen upon, had asked me about my name, but I denied it and had said, ‘Narjis’. He said, ‘It is a name of the slave girls’. I (Bishr) said, ‘Strange! You are a Roman and your language is Arabic! ’ She said, ‘Yes, from the enthusiasm of my grandfather, and he carried me upon learning the etiquettes and directed a woman to me to interpret for him during interchanging to me, and she used to aim for me morning and evening and benefitted me with the Arabic until my tongue was persistent upon it and straight’. Bishr said, ‘When went with her to Surmanray, she entered to see my Master-asws Abu Al-Hassan-asws. He-asws said: ‘How did Allah-azwj Show you the might of and disgrace of the Christianity, and nobility of Muhammad-saww and People-asws of his-saww Household? ’
She said, ‘How can I describe to you-asws, O son-asws of Rasool-Allah-saww what you-asws are more knowing with it than I am? ’
He-asws said: ‘I-asws would love to honour you, so which of the two is more beloved to you – ten thousand Dinars or glad tidings to you with the nobility forever? ’ She said, ‘Gland tidings of a son for me’. He-asws said to her: ‘I-asws hereby give you glad tidings of a son-ajfj who will rule the world, east and west, and he-ajfj will fill the earth with fairness and justice just as it would have had been filled with injustice and tyranny’. She said, ‘From who? ’ He-asws said: ‘From the one whom Rasool-Allah-saww had proposed for on such and such night, in such and such month of such and such year, in Roman’. He-asws said to her: ‘From the one the Messiah-as and his-as successor-as had got you married to’. She said, ‘From your-asws son-asws Abu Muhammad-asws? ’ He-asws said: ‘Do you know him-asws? ’ She said, ‘And has there been any night having passed he-asws did not visit me during it, since the day I became a Muslim upon the hand of Chieftess of the world? ’
He (the narrator) said, ‘Our Master-asws said: ‘O Kafour! Call my-asws sister-as Hakeema-as! ’ When she-as entered, he-asws said to her-as: ‘Here she is! ’ I hugged her-as for a long time and was joyful with her a lot. Abu Al-Hassan-asws said to her-as: ‘O daughter-as of Rasool-Allah-saww! Take her to your-as house and teach her the obligations and the Sunnah, for she is a wife of Abu Muhammad-asws and mother-as of Al-Qaim-ajfj’’. [13]
