Hadith 3

j Inspire me, and Turn my heart to what Satisfied You-azwj from me, and Pre-occupy me from what would distance me from You-azwj, and Inspire me to fear Your-azwj Punishment, and Rebuke me from wishing for status of the pious with what would Anger You-azwj, and Grant to me to make efforts in Your-azwj obedience, O most Merciful of the merciful ones! ’
Then you should pray two Cycles Salat and say, ‘O Allah-azwj! Send Salawaat upon Muhammad‑saww and Progeny-asws of Muhammad-saww, and Shelter me from the evil deeds and Utilise me for working in Your-azwj obedience, and Raise my rank by Your-azwj Mercy, and Shelter me from Your-azwj Fire and Your-azwj Wrath! O Allah-azwj! Send Salawaat upon Muhammad-saww and his-saww Progeny-asws and Make for me a clean heart, and truthful tongue, and a soul ascending to the bounties of Paradise, and Make me endeared by the reliance upon You-azwj, and right with what I am anticipating from You‑azwj, and contented, satisfied with what You-azwj have Graced me and reliant upon hoping to You‑azwj, and aiming to You-azwj regarding my needs until I do not rely except upon You-azwj nor trust in it except with You-azwj! ’
Then pray two Cycles Salat and say, ‘O Allah-azwj! Send Salawaat upon Muhammad-saww and Progeny-asws of Muhammad-saww, and Shelter me from the evil deeds and Utilise me in working in Your-azwj obedience, and Raise my ranks by Your-azwj Mercy, and Shelter me from Your-azwj Fire and Your-azwj Wrath! O Allah-azwj! I have been unjust to myself and my extravagance is mighty upon it, and I have plunged myself into disobeying You-azwj, and my sins have multiplied, and my faults are apparent, and my audacity with You-azwj is prolonged, and my evils deeds have become apparent, and my following the lustful desires is constant. I will be disappointed if You-azwj don’t Mercy me, and I will be destroyed if You-azwj don’t Pardon me, therefore Forgive my sins for me and Overlook my evil deeds, and Grant me my request, and Suffice me of what concerns me, and do not Allocate me to myself for I would be powerless, and Save me by Your-azwj Mercy from my wrongdoings, my Master-azwj! ’
And as for time of two Cycles of the midday, it has been reported that it is before the sun declines on the day of Friday, and it is reported after the midday, and the first is more apparent’’. [7]
And as for the follow-up after it, from that is what is reported by Abu Al Mufazzal Al Shaybani, from Ahmad Bin Ziyad, from Al-Hassan Bin Muhammad Bin Sama’at, from Abu Hamza, ‘From Abu Abdullah-asws, he (the narrator) said, ‘I heard him-asws saying: ‘One who says after the two Cycles before the obligatory Salat on the day of Friday, ‘Glory be to my Lord-azwj and with His-azwj Praise, and I seek Forgiveness of my Lord-azwj and I repent to Him-azwj’ – one hundred times, Allah-azwj the Exalted will Build for him a dwelling in the Paradise! ’’[8]
