Hadith 100

ur-azwj Praise! I have worked evil and have been unjust to myself, so Send Salawaat upon Muhammad-saww and his-saww Progeny-asws, and Forgive (sins) for me, and Mercy me, and Hold my hand, and Save me, and Harmonise me, and Suffice me, and Provide me, and Tak care of me during my night and my day, and my evening and my morning, and my staying and my travelling! O most Generous of the generous ones, and O most Benevolent of the benevolent ones, and O most Judicial of the meritorious ones, and O God-azwj of the former ones and the latter ones, and O Master of the Day of Religion (Qiyamah), and O most Merciful of the merciful ones! O Living, O Eternal, O Living Who will not be dying, O Living! There is no god except You-azwj! By Muhammad-saww, O Allah-azwj, by Ali-asws, O Allah-azwj, by (Syeda) Fatima-asws, O Allah-azwj, by Al-Hassan-asws, O Allah-azwj, by Al-Husayn-asws, O Allah-azwj, by Ali-asws O Allah-azwj, by Muhammad‑asws O Allah-azwj! ’
Al-Hassan Bin Mahboub (a narrator) said, ‘I presented it to Abu Al-Hassan-asws. He-asws increased in it: ‘By Ja’far-asws, O Allah-azwj, by Musa-asws, O Allah-azwj, by Ali-asws, O Allah-azwj, by Muhammad-asws, O Allah-azwj, by Ali-asws, O Allah-azwj, by Al-Hassan-asws, O Allah-azwj, by Your-azwj Divine Authority and Your-azwj Caliph in Your-azwj Land, O Allah-azwj! Send Salawaat upon Muhammad-saww and Progeny-asws of Muhammad-asws and Seize the one I fear by the forelock (and name him with his name) and Subdue his difficulties for me, and Ease for me his plots against me, and Repel from me, turning away of his heart, and Grace me his goodness, and Turn away from me his evil, for I seek Refuge with You-azwj O Allah-azwj, and I trust in You-azwj, and upon You-azwj I depend rely! Send Salawaat upon Muhammad-saww and Progeny-asws of Muhammad-saww and Turn him away from me, for You-azwj are Helper of the ones seeking help, and Rescue of the ones seeking rescue, and Shelter of the shelter seekers, and most Merciful of the merciful ones! ’’[106]
And from that is what is reported from Abu Al-Hassan Al-Kazim-asws. Abu Al-Hassan Musa-asws said: ‘On the night of Wednesday I-asws saw the Prophet-saww during the sleep. He-saww said to me-asws: ‘O Musa-asws! You-asws are the imprisoned, oppressed! ’, and he-saww repeated that thrice. Then he-saww said: ‘Perhaps it is a Fitna for you all and an enjoyment for a while. Wake up in the morning fasting and follow it with fasts of the Thursday and the Friday. When it is time of Al-Maghrib and Al-Isha Salat of the Friday, pray twelve Cycles Salat between Al-Maghrib and Al-Isha reciting in each Cycle Surah Al Hamd once, and Al Tawheed twelve times. When you-asws have prayed four Cycles Salat, perform Sajdah and say in your-asws Sajdah: ‘O Allah-azwj! O Preceder to the loss, and O Listener of the voices, and O Reviver of the bones after the death and these have decayed! I ask You-azwj by Your-azwj Magnificent Name, the most Magnificent to Send Salawaat upon Muhammad-saww and Progeny-asws of Muhammad-saww, Your-azwj servant and Your-azwj Rasool-saww, and upon People-asws of his-saww Household, the pure, and Hasten the relief to me from what I am in! ’
I-asws did that, and it happened what you see’’. [107]
