وَ رَوَى ابْنُ شِيرَوَيْهِ فِي كِتَابِ الْفِرْدَوْسِ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ص أَنَّهُ قَالَ: إِنَّمَا دَفَعَ اللَّهُ الْقَطْرَ عَنْ بَنِي إِسْرَائِيلَ بِسُوءِ رَأْيِهِمْ فِي أَنْبِيَائِهِمْ وَ إِنَّ اللَّهَ عَزَّ وَ جَلَّ يَدْفَعُ الْقَطْرَ عَنْ هَذِهِ الْأُمَّةِ بِبُغْضِهِمْ عَلِيَّ بْنَ أَبِي طَالِبٍ ع. وَ عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ص قَالَ: أُوصِيكُمْ بِهَذَيْنِ خَيْراً يَعْنِي عَلِيّاً وَ الْعَبَّاسَ لَا يَكُفُّ عَنْهُمَا أَحَدٌ وَ لَا يَحْفَظُهُمَا لِي إِلَّا أَعْطَاهُ اللَّهُ نُوراً يَرِدُ بِهِ عَلَيَّ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ. وَ عَنْ عُمَرَ بْنِ شَرَاحِيلَ عَنْهُ ص أَنَّهُ قَالَ: اللَّهُمَّ انْصُرْ مَنْ نَصَرَ عَلِيّاً اللَّهُمَّ أَكْرِمْ مَنْ أَكْرَمَ عَلِيّاً اللَّهُمَّ اخْذُلْ مَنْ خَذَلَ عَلِيّاً. وَ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ عَنْهُ ص اللَّهُمَّ أَعِنْهُ وَ أَعِنْ بِهِ وَ ارْحَمْهُ وَ ارْحَمْ بِهِ وَ انْصُرْهُ وَ انْصُرْ بِهِ اللَّهُمَّ وَالِ مَنْ وَالاهُ وَ عَادِ مَنْ عَادَاهُ يَعْنِي عَلِيّاً ع. وَ عَنْ أَنَسٍ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ص قَالَ: حُبُّ عَلِيٍّ يُخْمِدُ النِّيرَانَ. وَ عَنْ مُعَاذٍ عَنْهُ ص قَالَ: حُبُّ عَلِيِّ بْنِ أَبِي طَالِبٍ حَسَنَةٌ لَا تَضُرُّ مَعَهَا سَيِّئَةٌ وَ بُغْضُهُ سَيِّئَةٌ لَا تَنْفَعُ مَعَهَا حَسَنَةٌ. وَ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ عَنْهُ ص حُبُّ عَلِيِّ بْنِ أَبِي طَالِبٍ يَأْكُلُ الذُّنُوبَ كَمَا تَأْكُلُ النَّارُ الْحَطَبَ. وَ عَنْ عُمَرَ عَنْهُ ص حُبُّ عَلِيٍّ بَرَاءَةٌ مِنَ النَّارِ. وَ عَنْ أُمِّ سَلَمَةَ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ص قَالَ: شِيعَة
And it is reported by Ibn Sheyrawiya in the book ‘Al Firdows’, from Ibn Abbas, ‘From the Prophet-saww having said: ‘But rather, Allah-azwj Repelled the drops (of rain) away from the children of Israel due to their evil views regarding their Prophetsas, and Allah-azwj and Majestic will Repel the drops (of rain) away from this community due to their hatred of Ali-asws Bin Abu Talib-asws’’. [232]
And from Abu Saeed Al Khudry, ‘From the Prophet-saww having said: ‘I-saww am bequeathing you to be good with these two, meaning Ali-asws and Al-Abbas. No one will suffice from them both nor protect them for me-asws, except Allah-azwj would Give him a Noor to arrive by it to me-saww on the Day of Qiyamah’’. [233]
And from Umar Bin Shiraheel, ‘From him-saww having said: ‘O Allah-azwj! Help the one helping Ali-asws. O Allah-azwj! Honour the one honouring Ali-asws. O Allah-azwj! Abandon the one abandoning Ali-asws’’. [234]
And from Ibn Abbas, ‘From him-saww: ‘O Allah-azwj! Assist him-asws and Assist by him-asws and be Merciful to him-asws and be Merciful by him-asws and Help him and Help by him-asws. O Allah-azwj! Befriend the one befriending him-asws and be Inimical to the one being inimical to him-asws’ – meaning Ali-asws’’. [235]
And from Anas (well-known fabricator), ‘From the Prophet-saww having said: ‘Love of Ali-asws would subside the fires (of Hell)’’. [236]
And from Muaz, ‘From him-saww having said: ‘Love of Ali-asws Bin Abu Talib-asws is such a good deed, no evil deed can harm being with it, and hating him-asws is such an evil deed, no good deed benefits being with it’’. [237]
And from Ibn Abbas, ‘From him-saww: ‘Love of Ali-asws Bin Abu Talib-asws consumes the sins like the fire consumes the firewood’’. [238]
And from Umar, ‘From him-saww: ‘Love of Ali-asws is a freedom pass from the Fire’’. [239]
