صح، صحيفة الرضا عليه السلام عَنِ الرِّضَا عَنْ آبَائِهِ عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ الْحُسَيْنِ ع قَالَ حَدَّثَتْنِي أَسْمَاءُ بِنْتُ عُمَيْسٍ قَالَتْ كُنْتُ عِنْدَ فَاطِمَةَ جَدَّتِكَ إِذْ دَخَلَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ص وَ فِي عُنُقِهَا قِلَادَةٌ مِنْ ذَهَبٍ كَانَ عَلِيُّ بْنُ أَبِي طَالِبٍ ع اشْتَرَاهَا لَهُ مِنْ فَيْءٍ لَهُ فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ ص لَا يَغُرَّنَّكَ النَّاسُ أَنْ يَقُولُوا بِنْتُ مُحَمَّدٍ وَ عَلَيْكَ لِبَاسُ الْجَبَابِرَةِ
فَقَطَعَتْهَا وَ بَاعَتْهَا وَ اشْتَرَتْ بِهَا رَقَبَةً فَأَعْتَقَتْهَا فَسُرَّ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ص بِذَلِكَ.
(The book) ‘Saheefa Al-Reza-asws’ – From Al-Reza-asws, from his-asws forefathers-asws, from Ali-asws Bin Al-Husayn-asws having said: ‘It is narrated to me-asws by Asma Bint Umeys who said, ‘I was in the presence of your-asws grandmother-asws (Syeda) Fatima-asws, when Rasool-Allah-saww entered, and in her-asws neck was a necklace of gold. Ali-asws Bin Abu Talib-asws had bought it from his-asws war booty, so the Prophet-saww said: ‘Do not let it deceive you-asws, and the people should be saying, ‘Daughter-asws of Muhammad-saww’, and upon you-asws is an apparel of the tyrants! ’
She-asws cut it off and sold it and bought a maid with it and freed her, so Rasool-Allah-saww was cheered with that’’. [78]
