Hadith 33

(The book) ‘Kitab Al Nujoom’ – One of our companions mentioned in ‘Kitab Al Awsiya’, and it is a reliable book, reported by Al-Hassan Bin Ja’far Al Seymari, and complied by Ali Bin Muhammad Bin Ziyad Al Seymari, and there was correspondence for him to Al Hady-asws and Al-Askari-asws, and their-asws answer to him, and he is trustworthy, relied upon. He said what are these wordings, ‘And it is narrated to me by Abu Ja’far Al Qummi son of a brother of Ahmad Bin Is’haq Bin Masqalah, ‘There was Jewish astrologer at Qum described as being clever with the calculations. Ahmad Bin Is’haq presented to him and said to him, ‘A new-born has been born at such and such time, so take a horoscope and make a birth to be for him’. He (the narrator) said, ‘He took the horoscope and looked into it, and worked out a working for him and said to Ahmad Bin Is’haq, ‘I don’t see the stars pointing me in what is found in the calculation, and that this new-born is for you, and a new-born like this cannot be except a Prophet-as or a successor-asws of a Prophet-as, and the consideration points upon that he-ajfj would be ruling the world, east and west, and land and sea, and coast and mountain, to the extent that there will not remain anyone upon the surface of the earth except he would make it a religion with his-ajfj religion and says (believes) in his-ajfj Wilayah’’.
