اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَفْتَتِحُ الثَّنَاءَ بِحَمْدِكَ وَأَنْتَ مُسَدِّدٌ لِلصَّوَابِ بِمَنِّكَ وَأَيْقَنْتُ أَنَّكَ أَنْتَ أَرْحَمُ الرَّاحِمِينَ فِي مَوْضِعِ الْعَفْوِ وَالرَّحْمَةِ وَأَشَدُّ الْمُعَاقِبِينَ فِي مَوْضِعِ النَّكَالِ وَالنَّقِمَةِ وَأَعْظَمُ الْمُتَجَبِّرِينَ فِي مَوْضِعِ الْكِبْرِيَاءِ وَالْعَظَمَةِ. اللَّهُمَّ أَذِنْتَ لِي فِي دُعائِكَ وَمَسْأَلَتِكَ فَاسْمَعْ يَا سَمِيعُ مِدْحَتِي وَأَجِبْ يَا رَحِيمُ دَعْوَتِي وَأَقِلْ يَا غَفُورُ عَثْرَتِي. فَكَمْ يَا إِلَهِي مِنْ كُرْبَةٍ قَدْ فَرَّجْتَهَا وَهُمُومٍ قَدْ كَشَفْتَهَا وَعَثْرَةٍ قَدْ أَقَلْتَهَا وَرَحْمَةٍ قَدْ نَشَرْتَهَا وَحَلْقَةِ بَلاَءٍ قَدْ فَكَكْتَهَا. الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ الَّذِي لَمْ يَتَّخِذْ صَاحِبَةً وَلاَ وَلَداً وَلَمْ يَكُنْ لَهُ شَرِيكٌ فِي الْمُلْكِ وَلَمْ يَكُنْ لَهُ وَلِيٌّ مِنَ الذُّلِّ وَكَبِّرْهُ تَكْبِيراً.
O God, I open praise with the lauding of You, and You guide to the right by Your grace. I am certain that You are the most Merciful of the merciful in the place of pardon and mercy, the most Severe of punishers in the place of chastisement and retribution, and the Greatest of the mighty in the place of grandeur and majesty. O God, You have permitted me to call upon You and ask of You. So hear, O All-Hearing, my praise, and answer, O Merciful, my call, and forgive, O All-Forgiving, my stumble. How many, O my God, distresses You have relieved, sorrows You have removed, stumbles You have pardoned, mercy You have spread, and circles of affliction You have broken. Praise be to God who has taken neither companion nor child, who has no partner in dominion, and no protector out of weakness. And magnify Him with great magnification.
