Hadith 82

(The book) ‘Al Manaqib’ of Ibn Shehr Ashub – Malik Bin Dinar, ‘I saw in during the bidding farewell to go to Hajj, there was a weak woman upon a thin animal, and the people were advising her to go back. When we were in the middle of the desert, her animal collapsed. She could not continue in her going. She raised her head towards the sky and said, ‘You-azwj have neither Left me in my house nor have You-azwj Carried me to Your-azwj House. By Your-azwj Mighty and Your-azwj Majesty! If someone other than You-azwj had done this with me, I would not have complained to You-azwj! ’
Then a person came to her from the desert and in his hand was a rein of a she-camel. He said to her, ‘Ride! ’ She rode, and the camel rode like the flash of lightning. When it reached the Tawaaf place, I saw her performing Tawaaf. I made her oath, ‘Who are you? ’ She said, ‘I am Shuhrat daughter of Fizza-as, servant of (Syeda) Al-Zahra-asws’. And she-asws (Fatima-asws) had pledged a dress of hers-asws with a wife of Zayd the Jew in Al-Medina, and she-asws borrowed the barley. When Zayd entered his house, he said, ‘What is this radiance in our house? ’ She said, ‘A dress of (Syeda) Fatima-asws’. He became a Muslim immediately, and his wife became a Muslim and his neighbours, to the extent of eighty persons’. And she-asws (Fatima-asws) asked Rasool-Allah-saww for a ring. He-saww said: ‘Shall I-saww let you-asws know of what is better than the ring? When you-asws have prayed the night Salat, then request from Allah-azwj Mighty and Majestic for a ring, you-asws will attain your-asws need’. He (the narrator) said, ‘She-asws supplicated to her-asws Lord-azwj, and there was a caller calling out: “O Fatima-asws, that which you-asws have requested from Me-azwj, is beneath your-asws prayer mat”. She-asws raised the prayer mat and there was a ruby ring, there being no price to it. She-asws wore it in her-asws finger and rejoiced. When she-asws slept on her-asws night, she-asws saw in her-asws dream as if she-asws was in the Paradise. She-asws saw three palaces, the like of which had not been seen in the Paradise. She-asws said: ‘For whom are these castles? ’ They said, ‘For Fatima-asws daughter-asws of Muhammad-saww’. He said, ‘It was as if she-asws had entered a castle from that and went around in it. She-asws saw a bed which had leaned being upon three legs. She-asws said: ‘What is the matter with this bed, having inclined, being upon three (legs)? ’ They said, ‘Because its owner sought a ring from Allah-azwj, so one of the legs was removed and a ring was forged for her-asws, and the bed remains upon three legs’. When she-asws woke up in the morning, she-asws entered to see Rasool-Allah-saww and narrated the story. The Prophet-saww said: ‘Community of the family of Abdul Muttalib-asws! The world isn’t for you all. But rather, for you is the Hereafter, and your promised appointment is the Paradise. What will you be doing with the world? It is temporal, deceptive. The Prophet-saww instructed her-asws to return the ring under the prayer mat. She-asws returned it, then slept upon the prayer mat. She-asws saw in the dream that she-asws had entered the Paradise,
