الحديث 1

َارُ وَ الْمُسْلِمُونَ. يَا مَعَاشِرَ الْمُهَاجِرِينَ وَ الْأَنْصَارِ وَ جَمَاعَةَ مَنْ سَمِعَ كَلَامِي! أَ مَا أَوْجَبْتُمْ لِي عَلَى أَنْفُسِكُمُ الطَّاعَةَ؟ أَ مَا بَايَعْتُمُونِّي عَلَى الرَّغْبَةِ؟ أَ مَا أَخَذْتُ عَلَيْكُمُ الْعَهْدَ بِالْقَبُولِ لِقَوْلِي؟ أَ مَا بَيْعَتِي لَكُمْ يَوْمَئِذٍ أَوْكَدَ مِنْ بَيْعَةِ أَبِي بَكْرٍ وَ عُمَرَ؟
فَمَا بَالُ مَنْ خَالَفَنِي لَمْ يَنْقُضْ عَلَيْهِمَا حَتَّى مَضَيَا، وَ نَقَضَ عَلَيَّ وَ لَمْ يُوَفِّ لِي! أَ مَا يَجِبُ عَلَيْكُمْ نُصْحِي وَ يَلْزَمُكُمْ أَمْرِي؟ أَ مَا تَعْلَمُونَ أَنَّ بَيْعَتِي تَلْزَمُ الشَّاهِدَ مِنْكُمْ وَ الْغَائِبَ؟
فَمَا بَالُ مُعَاوِيَةَ وَ أَصْحَابِهِ طَاعِنُونَ فِي بَيْعَتِي! وَ لِمَ لَمْ يَفُوا لِي وَ أَنَا فِي قَرَابَتِي وَ سَابِقَتِي وَ صِهْرِي، أَوْلَى بِالْأَمْرِ مِمَّنْ تَقَدَّمَنِي؟ أَ مَا سَمِعْتُمْ قَوْلَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَ آلِهِ يَوْمَ الْغَدِيرِ فِي وَلَايَتِي وَ مُوَالاتِي. فَاتَّقُوا اللَّهَ أَيُّهَا الْمُسْلِمُونَ! وَ تَحَاثُّوا عَلَى جِهَادِ مُعَاوِيَةَ الْقَاسِطِ النَّاكِثِ وَ أَصْحَابِهِ الْقَاسِطِينَ، [وَ] اسْمَعُوا مَا أَتْلُو عَلَيْكُمْ مِنْ كِتَابِ اللَّهِ الْمُنْزَلِ عَلَى نَبِيِّهِ الْمُرْسَلِ لِتَتَّعِظُوا، فَإِنَّهُ وَ اللَّهِ عِظَةٌ لَكُمْ. فَانْتَفِعُوا بِمَوَاعِظِ اللَّهِ وَ ازْدَجِرُوا عَنْ مَعَاصِي اللَّهِ، فَقَدْ وَعَظَكُمُ اللَّهُ بِغَيْرِكُمْ
فَقَالَ لِنَبِيِّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَ آلِهِ: أَ لَمْ تَرَ إِلَى الْمَلَإِ مِنْ بَنِي إِسْرائِيلَ مِنْ بَعْدِ مُوسى إِذْ قالُوا لِنَبِيٍّ لَهُمُ ابْعَثْ لَنا مَلِكاً نُقاتِلْ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ قالَ هَلْ عَسَيْتُمْ إِنْ كُتِبَ عَلَيْكُمُ الْقِتالُ أَلَّا تُقاتِلُوا قالُوا وَ ما لَنا أَلَّا نُقاتِلَ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ وَ قَدْ أُخْرِجْنا مِنْ دِيارِنا وَ أَبْنائِنا فَلَمَّا كُتِبَ عَلَيْهِمُ الْقِتالُ تَوَلَّوْا إِلَّا قَلِيلًا مِنْهُمْ وَ اللَّهُ عَلِيمٌ بِالظَّالِمِينَ
وَ قالَ لَهُمْ نَبِيُّهُمْ إِنَّ اللَّهَ قَدْ بَعَثَ لَكُمْ طالُوتَ مَلِكاً قالُوا أَنَّى يَكُونُ لَهُ الْمُلْكُ عَلَيْنا وَ نَحْنُ أَحَقُّ بِالْمُلْكِ مِنْهُ وَ لَمْ يُؤْتَ سَعَةً مِنَ الْمالِ قالَ إِنَّ اللَّهَ اصْطَفاهُ عَلَيْكُمْ وَ زادَهُ بَسْطَةً فِي الْعِلْمِ وَ الْجِسْمِ وَ اللَّهُ يُؤْتِي مُلْكَهُ مَنْ يَشاءُ وَ اللَّهُ واسِعٌ عَلِيمٌ
أَيُّهَا النَّاسُ! إِنَّ لَكُمْ فِي هَذِهِ الْآيَاتِ عِبْرَةً؛ لِتَعْلَمُوا أَنَّ اللَّهَ جَعَلَ الْخِلَافَةَ وَ الْإِمْرَةَ مِنْ بَعْدِ الْأَنْبِيَاءِ فِي أَعْقَابِهِمْ، وَ أَنَّهُ فَضَّلَ طَالُوتَ وَ قَدَّمَهُ عَلَى الْجَمَاعَةِ بِاصْطِفَائِهِ إِيَّاهُ، وَ زادَهُ بَسْطَةً فِي الْعِلْمِ وَ الْجِسْمِ،
فَهَلْ تَجِدُونَ اللَّهَ اصْطَفَى بَنِي أُمَيَّةَ عَلَى بَنِي هَاشِمٍ، وَ زَادَ مُعَاوِيَةَ عَلَيَّ بَسْطَةً فِي الْعِلْمِ وَ الْجِسْمِ؟! فَاتَّقُوا ال
tance of my-asws word? Isn’t my-asws allegiance today more confirmed to you than the allegiance of Abu Bakr and Umar? So, what is the matter with the one who opposes me-asws (and) he had not broken upon them both until they died, and breaking upon me-asws and not being loyal to me-asws? Is it not obligatory upon you to advise me-asws and necessitate my-asws orders? Do you not know that my-asws allegiance is obligated upon the ones present from you and the absentees? So, what is the matter Muawiya and his companions are offensive in my-asws allegiance? And why are they not being loyal to me-asws and I-asws am in my-asws kinship (with Rasool-Allah-saww), and my-asws precedence, and my-asws in-law ship, I-asws am foremost with the command than the ones who preceded me (Abu Bakr and Umar)? Have you not heard the words of Rasool-Allah-saww on the day of Al-Ghadeer regarding my-asws Wilayah and my-asws Master-ship? Fear Allah-azwj, O you Muslims, and be urged upon Jihad against Muawiya, the deviant, the allegiance-breakers, and his deviant companions, and listen to what I-asws am reciting to you from the Book of Allah-azwj Revealed unto His-azwj Prophet-saww, the Sent for you to be preached, for by Allah-azwj it is a preaching for you all! Benefit from the Preaching of Allah-azwj and be Reproached from disobeying Allah-azwj, for Allah-azwj is Advising you through others. He-azwj Said to His-azwj Prophet-saww: Have you not considered the chiefs of the children of Israel after Musa, when they said to a Prophet of theirs: ‘Appoint for us a king; we would fight in the Way of Allah’. He said: ‘Perhaps you would not fight if fighting is Prescribed for you? ’ They said: ‘And what is for us except that we fight in the Way of Allah, and we and our children have been expelled from our homes? ’ But when fighting was Prescribed upon them, they turned back, except a few of them, and Allah Knows the unjust ones [2: 246]. And their Prophet said to them: ‘Allah has Appointed Talut to be a king over you’. They said: ‘How can he hold kingship over us while we have a greater right to kingship than him, and he has not been Given an abundance from the wealth? ’ He said: ‘Allah has Chosen him over you, and has Increased him abundantly in knowledge and physique; and Allah Grants His Kingdom to the one He so Desires to; and Allah is Capacious, Knowing [2: 247]. O you people! There is a lesson for you in these Verses for you to know that Allah-azwj made the caliphate and the government from after the Prophets-as to be in their-as posterity, and He-azwj Merited Talut and Advanced him upon the community by His-azwj Choosing him. and has Increased him abundantly in knowledge and physique; [2: 247]. Can you find (anywhere) Allah-azwj Choosing the clan of Umayya over the Clan of Hashim-as, and Increased Muawiya over me-asws in abundance of knowledge and physique? ! Fear Allah-azwj, servants of Allah-azwj and fight in the Way of Allah-azwj before His-azwj Wrath Seizes you due to your disobedience to Him-azwj. Allah-azwj the Glorious Said:
