سن، المحاسن مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ عَنِ الْفُضَيْلِ قَالَ: قُلْتُ لِأَبِي الْحَسَنِ ع أَيُّ شَيْءٍ أَفْضَلُ مَا يَتَقَرَّبُ بِهِ الْعِبَادُ إِلَى اللَّهِ فِيمَا افْتَرَضَ عَلَيْهِمْ
فَقَالَ أَفْضَلُ مَا يَتَقَرَّبُ بِهِ الْعِبَادُ إِلَى اللَّهِ طَاعَةُ اللَّهِ وَ طَاعَةُ رَسُولِهِ وَ حُبُّ اللَّهِ وَ حُبُّ رَسُولِهِ وَ أُولِي الْأَمْرِ وَ كَانَ أَبُو جَعْفَرٍ عَلَيْهِ السَّلَامُ يَقُولُ حُبُّنَا إِيمَانٌ وَ بُغْضُنَا كُفْرُ.
(The book) ‘Al Mahasin’ – Muhammad Bin Ali, from Al Fuzeyl who said, ‘I said to Abu Al-Hassanasws, ‘Which thing is the most superior of what the servants can draw near to Allahazwj with, regarding what Heazwj has Obligated upon them? ’
Heasws said: ‘The most superior of what the servants can draw nearest to Allahazwj with is obedience to Allahazwj and obedience to Hisazwj Rasoolsaww, and love of Allahazwj, and love of Hisazwj Rasoolsaww, and the Mastersasws of the Command. And Abu Ja’farasws was saying: ‘Love for usasws is Eman and hatred for usasws is Kufr’’. [165]
