الْكَافِيَةُ فِي إِبْطَالِ تَوْبَةِ الْخَاطِئَةِ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ عَنْ ثَابِتٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ حَبَّةَ الْعُرَنِيِ أَنَّ أَمِيرَ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ صَلَوَاتُ اللَّهِ عَلَيْهِ بَعَثَ إِلَى عَائِشَةَ مُحَمَّداً أَخَاهَا رَحْمَةُ اللَّهِ عَلَيْهِ وَ عَمَّارَ بْنَ يَاسِرٍ رِضْوَانُ اللَّهِ عَلَيْهِ و أَنِ ارْتَحِلِي وَ أَلْحِقِي بَيْتَكِ الَّذِي تَرَكَكِ فِيهِ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ
فَقَالَتْ وَ اللَّهِ لَا أَرِيمُ عَنْ هَذَا الْبَلَدِ أَبَداً فَرَجَعَا إِلَى أَمِيرِ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ ع وَ أَخْبَرَاهُ بِقَوْلِهَا فَغَضِبَ ثُمَّ رَدَّهُمَا إِلَيْهَا وَ بَعَثَ مَعَهُمَا الْأَشْتَرَ فَقَالَ وَ اللَّهِ لِتَخْرُجَنَّ أَوْ لِتَحْمِلَنَّ احْتِمَالًا
ثُمَّ قَالَ أَمِيرُ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ صَلَوَاتُ اللَّهِ عَلَيْهِ يَا مَعْشَرَ عَبْدِ الْقَيْسِ انْدُبُوا إِلَى الْحُرَّةِ الْخِيَرَةَ مِنْ نِسَائِكُمْ فَإِنَّ هَذِهِ الْمَرْأَةَ مِنْ نِسَائِكُمْ فَإِنَّهَا قَدْ أَبَتْ أَنْ تَخْرُجَ لِتَحْمِلُوهَا احْتِمَالًا
فَلَمَّا عَلِمَتْ بِذَلِكَ قَالَتْ لَهُمْ قُولُوا فَلْيُجَهِّزْنِي فَأَتَوْا أَمِيرَ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ صَلَوَاتُ اللَّهِ عَلَيْهِ فَذَكَرُوا لَهُ ذَلِكَ فَجَهَّزَهَا وَ بَعَثَ مَعَهَا بِالنِّسَاءِ.
(The book) ‘Al Kafiya Fi Ibtal Tawbah Al Khatiya’ – From Ibrahim Bin Urwah, from Sabit, from his father, from Habbat Al Urny, ‘Amir Al-Momineen-asws sent a message to Ayesha by her brother Muhammad and Ammar Bin Yasser: ‘Depart and join up with your house which Rasool-Allah-saww had left you behind in it’. She said, ‘By Allah-azwj! I will not transfer from this city, ever’. They returned to Amir Al-Momineen-asws and informed him-asws of her words. He-asws got angered, then returned them to her and sent Al-Ashtar along with them. He-asws said: ‘By Allah-azwj! Either you go out or you will be carried out with a carrying! ’
Then Amir Al-Momineen-asws said: ‘O community of Abdul Qays! Call your free and good women, for this (Ayesha) is a woman from your womenfolk, and she has refused to go out, so she has to be carried out with a carrying! ’
When she came to know of that, she said to them, ‘Tell him-asws to equip me (for the journey)’. They came to Amir Al-Momineen-asws and mentioned that to him-asws. He-asws equipped her and sent it with the women’’. [87]
