قب، المناقب لابن شهرآشوب صَحِيحُ التِّرْمِذِيِ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ قَالَ يَوْمَ الْحُدَيْبِيَةِ لِسُهَيْلِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو وَ قَدْ سَأَلَهُ رَدَّ جَمَاعَةٍ فَرُوِيَ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ص قَالَ يَا مَعْشَرَ قُرَيْشٍ لِتَنْتَهُنَّ أَوْ لَيَبْعَثَنَّ اللَّهُ عَلَيْكُمْ مَنْ يَضْرِبُ رِقَابَكُمْ عَلَى الدِّينِ امْتَحَنَ اللَّهُ قَلْبَهُ بِالْإِيمَانِ
قَالُوا مَنْ هُوَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ قَالَ هُوَ خَاصِفُ النَّعْلِ وَ كَانَ أَعْطَى عَلِيّاً ع نَعْلَهُ يَخْصِفُهَا. 263 يف، الطرائف مِنْ مُسْنَدِ أَحْمَدَ لِتَنْتَهُنَّ مَعْشَرَ قُرَيْشٍ أَوْ لَيَبْعَثَنَّ اللَّهُ عَلَيْكُمْ. قب، المناقب لابن شهرآشوب الْخَطِيبُ فِي التَّارِيخِ وَ السَّمْعَانِيُّ فِي الْفَضَائِلِ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ص قَالَ: لَا تَنْتَهُنَّ يَا مَعْشَرَ قُرَيْشٍ حَتَّى يَبْعَثَ اللَّهُ رَجُلًا امْتَحَنَ اللَّهُ قَلْبَهُ بِالْإِيمَانِ. الْحَدِيثَ سَوَاءً. وَ رَوَى ابْنُ بَطَّةَ فِي الْإِبَانَةِ حَدِيثَ خَاصِفِ النَّعْلِ بِسَبْعَةِ طُرُقٍ مِنْهَا مَا رَوَاهُ أَبُو سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيُّ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ص إِنَّ مِنْكُمْ مَنْ يُقَاتِلُ عَلَى تَأْوِيلِ الْقُرْآنِ كَمَا قَاتَلْتُ عَلَى تَنْزِيلِهِ
فَقَالَ أَبُو بَكْرٍ أَنَا هُوَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ قَالَ لَا قَالَ عُمَرُ أَنَا هُوَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ قَالَ لَا وَ لَكِنَّهُ خَاصِفُ النَّعْلِ
قَالَ أَبُو سَعِيدٍ فَابْتَدَرْنَا نَنْظُرُ فَإِذَا هُوَ عَلِيٌّ ع يَخْصِفُ نَعْلَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ.
(The book) ‘Al Manaqib’ of Ibn Shehr Ashub, (and the book) ‘Saheeh’ of Al Tirmizi –
‘The Prophet-saww said on the day of Al-Hudeybiyya to Suheyl Bin Amro, and he had asked him-saww to return the people, and it is reported that the Prophet-saww said: ‘O community of Quraysh! Either you desist or else I-saww shall send unto you one-asws who will strike your necks upon the religion, Allah-azwj would have Tested his-asws heart for the Eman’. They said, ‘Who is he, O Rasool-Allah-saww? ’ He-saww said: ‘He-asws is repairer of the slipper, and he-saww had given Ali-asws his-saww slipper to repair it’’. [142]
(The book) ‘Al-Taraaif’ from (the book) ‘Musnad’ of Ahmad (Bin Hanbal): ‘(He-saww said): ‘Either you desist, community of Quraysh, or Allah-azwj will Send upon you all’ – and mentioned similar to it’’. [143]
(The book) ‘Al Manaqib’ of Ibn Shehr Ashub (and) Al Khateeb in the history, and Al Sama’any in (the book) ‘Al Fazaail’, ‘The Prophet-saww having said: ‘Either you desist (give up), O community of Quraysh, until (or else) Allah-azwj Sends a man whose heart Allah-azwj would have Tested for the Eman’. The same Hadeeth’’. [144]
And it is reported by Ibn Battah in (the book) ‘Al Ibaana’ the Hadeeth of ‘Repairer of the slipper’ by seven ways, from these is what is reported by Abu Saeed Al Khudry who said, ‘Rasool-Allah-saww said: ‘From you all there is one who will fight upon the interpretation of the Quran just as I-saww fought upon its Revelation’. Abu Bakr said, ‘Am I he, O Rasool-Allah-saww? ’ He-saww said: ‘No’. Umar said, ‘Am I he, O Rasool-Allah-saww? ’ He-saww said: ‘No, but he is repairer of the slipper’. Abu Saeed said, ‘We turned to look, and there it was Ali-asws repairing a slipper of Rasool-Allah-saww’’. [145]
