شا، الإرشاد مِنْ كَلَامِهِ ع فِي تَحْضِيضِهِ عَلَى الْقِتَالِ يَوْمَ صِفِّينَ بَعْدَ حَمْدِ اللَّهِ وَ الثَّنَاءِ عَلَيْهِ عِبَادَ اللَّهِ اتَّقُوا اللَّهَ وَ غُضُّوا الْأَبْصَارَ وَ اخْفِضُوا الْأَصْوَاتَ وَ أَقِلُّوا الْكَلَامَ وَ وَطِّنُوا أَنْفُسَكُمْ عَلَى الْمُنَازَلَةِ وَ الْمُجَادَلَةِ وَ الْمُبَارَزَةِ وَ الْمُبَالَطَةِ وَ الْمُبَالَدَةِ وَ الْمُعَانَقَةِ وَ الْمُكَادَمَةِ وَ اثْبُتُوا وَ اذْكُرُوا اللَّهَ كَثِيراً لَعَلَّكُمْ تُفْلِحُونَ وَ أَطِيعُوا اللَّهَ وَ رَسُولَهُ وَ لا تَنازَعُوا فَتَفْشَلُوا وَ تَذْهَبَ رِيحُكُمْ وَ اصْبِرُوا إِنَّ اللَّهَ مَعَ الصَّابِرِينَ
اللَّهُمَّ أَلْهِمْهُمُ الصَّبْرَ وَ أَنْزِلْ عَلَيْهِمُ النَّصْرَ وَ أَعْظِمْ لَهُمُ الْأَجْرَ.
(The book) ‘Al-Irshad’ – From a speech of his-asws regarding his-asws inciting upon the fighting on the day of Siffeen, after praising Allah-azwj and the extolling upon Him-azwj: ‘Servants of Allah-azwj! Fear Allah-azwj and close your eyes, and humble the voices, and lessen the talk, and think of yourselves upon the hostile encounter, and the disputation, and the duelling, and the cutting down, and the reckless fighting, and the hand-to-hand combat, and be steadfast and remember Allah much, that you may be successful [8: 45] And obey Allah and His Rasool and do not quarrel for you will be weary and your force will depart, and be patient, surely Allah is with the patient ones [8: 46]. O Allah-azwj! Inspire them the patience and Send down the Help upon them and Magnify the recompense for them! ’’[81]
