كنز، كنز جامع الفوائد و تأويل الآيات الظاهرة أَمْ أَبْرَمُوا أَمْراً فَإِنَّا مُبْرِمُونَ الْآيَةَ قَالَ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْعَبَّاسِ حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ الْمُتَوَلِّي عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ حَمَّادٍ الشَّامِيِّ عَنِ الْحُسَيْنِ بْنِ أَسَدٍ عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ إِسْمَاعِيلَ الْمُثَنَّى عَنِ الْفَضْلِ بْنِ الزُّبَيْرِ عَنْ أَبِي دَاوُدَ عَنْ بُرَيْدَةَ الْأَسْلَمِيِ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ص قَالَ لِبَعْضِ أَصْحَابِهِ سَلِّمُوا عَلَى عَلِيٍّ بِإِمْرَةِ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ فَقَالَ رَجُلٌ مِنَ الْقَوْمِ- لَا وَ اللَّهِ لَا تَجْتَمِعُ النُّبُوَّةُ وَ الْخِلَافَةُ فِي أَهْلِ بَيْتٍ أَبَداً فَأَنْزَلَ اللَّهُ تَعَالَى هَذِهِ الْآيَةَ. وَ يُؤَيِّدُهُ مَا رُوِيَ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَبَّاسٍ أَنَّهُ قَالَ: إِنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ص أَخَذَ عَلَيْهِمُ الْمِيثَاقَ لِأَمِيرِ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ ع مَرَّتَيْنِ الْأُولَى حِينَ قَالَ أَ تَدْرُونَ مَنْ وَلِيُّكُمْ مِنْ بَعْدِي قَالُوا اللَّهُ وَ رَسُولُهُ أَعْلَمُ
قَالَ صَالِحُ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ وَ أَشَارَ بِيَدِهِ إِلَى عَلِيِّ بْنِ أَبِي طَالِبٍ ع وَ قَالَ هَذَا وَلِيُّكُمْ مِنْ بَعْدِي
وَ الثَّانِيَةُ يَوْمَ غَدِيرِ خُمٍّ يَقُولُ مَنْ كُنْتُ مَوْلَاهُ فَعَلِيٌّ مَوْلَاهُ وَ كَانُوا قَدْ أَسَرُّوا فِي أَنْفُسِهِمْ وَ تَعَاقَدُوا أَنْ لَا يَرْجِعَ إِلَى آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ هَذَا الْأَمْرُ وَ لَا يُعْطُوهُمُ الْخُمُسَ فَأَطْلَعَ اللَّهُ نَبِيَّهُ ص عَلَى أَمْرِهِمْ وَ أَنْزَلَ عَلَيْهِ هَذِهِ الْآيَةَ.
(The books) ‘Kunz Jamie Al Fawaaid’ and ‘Taweel Al-Ayaat Al-Zaahira’ – Or are they (trying to) conclude a matter? But We are the Concluders [43: 79] Muhammad Bin Al Abbas said, ‘It is narrated to us by Ahmad Al Mutawalli, from Muhammad Bin Hammad Al Shamy, from Al-Husayn Bin Asad, from Ali Bin Ismail Al Musanna, from Al Fazl Bin Al Zubeyr, from Abu Dawood, from Bureyda Al Aslami, ‘The Prophet-saww said to one of his-saww companions: ‘Greet unto Ali-asws as ‘Amir Al-Momineen’! ’ A man from the people said, ‘No, by Allah-azwj! The Prophet-hood and the caliphate will not be gathered in People-asws of the Household, ever! ’ So, Allah-azwj the Exalted Revealed this Verse’’. [195]
And it is supported by what is reported from Abdullah Bin Abbas having said, ‘Rasool-Allah-saww took the covenant upon them for Amir Al-Momineen-asws, twice. The first was when he-saww said: ‘Do you know who is your guardian from after me-saww? ’ They said, ‘Allah-azwj and His-azwj Rasool-saww are more knowing! ’
He-saww said: ‘Reconciler of the Momineen! ’ – and he-saww indicated by his-saww hand towards Ali-asws Bin Abu Talib-asws and said: ‘This one is your guardian from after me-saww’. And the second was on the day of Ghadeer Khumm he-saww said: ‘One whose master-saww I-saww was so Ali-asws is his master-asws’. And they had kept it a secret within themselves, and they made a pact, ‘This command will not return to Progeny-asws of Muhammad-saww and they-asws will not be given the ‘Khums’’. Allah-azwj Notified His-azwj Prophet-saww upon their affair and Revealed this Verse upon him-saww’’. [196]
