نص، كفاية الأثر أَبُو الْمُفَضَّلِ الشَّيْبَانِيُّ عَنْ جَعْفَرِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ الْحَسَنِيِّ عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْمُنْعِمِ عَنِ الْمُفَضَّلِ بْنِ صَالِحٍ عَنْ أَبَانِ بْنِ تَغْلِبَ عَنْ أَبِي جَعْفَرٍ الْبَاقِرِ ع قَالَ: سَأَلْتُهُ عَنِ الْأَئِمَّةِ فَقَالَ وَ اللَّهِ لَعَهْدٌ عَهِدَهُ إِلَيْنَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ص أَنَّ الْأَئِمَّةَ بَعْدَهُ اثْنَا عَشَرَ تِسْعَةٌ مِنْ صُلْبِ الْحُسَيْنِ وَ مِنَّا الْمَهْدِيُّ الَّذِي يُقِيمُ الدِّينَ فِي آخِرِ الزَّمَانِ
مَنْ أَحَبَّنَا حُشِرَ مِنْ حُفْرَتِهِ مَعَنَا وَ مَنْ أَبْغَضَنَا أَوْ رَدَّنَا أَوْ رَدَّ وَاحِداً مِنَّا حُشِرَ مِنْ حُفْرَتِهِ إِلَى النَّارِ وَ قَدْ خابَ مَنِ افْتَرى.
(The book) ‘Kifayat Al Aser’ – Abu Al Mufazzal Al Shaybani, from Ja’far Bin Muhammad Al Hasany, from Ahmad Bin Abdul Mun’im, from Al Mufazzal Bin Salij, from Aban Bin Taghlib, ‘From Abu Ja’far Al-Baqir-asws, he (the narrator) said, ‘I asked him-asws about the Imams-asws. He-asws said: ‘By Allah-azwj! For a pact pacted to us-asws by Rasool-Allah-saww, the Imams-asws after him-saww are twelve, nine being from the Sulb of Al-Husayn-asws, and from us-asws is the Mahdi-asws who will establish the religion at the end of times. One who loves, would be Resurrected from his grave with us-asws, and one who hates us-asws or rejects us-asws, or rejects one-asws of us-asws, would be Resurrected from his grave to the Fire: and the one who fabricates would be disappointed’ [20: 61]’’.
