الحديث 104

ِ خُمٍ إِذْ نَوَّهَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ص بِاسْمِهِ وَ أَلْزَمَ أُمَّتَهُ وَلَايَتَهُ وَ عَرَّفَهُمْ بِخَطَرِهِ وَ بَيَّنَ لَهُمْ مَكَانَهُ فَقَالَ أَيُّهَا النَّاسُ مَنْ أَوْلَى بِكُمْ مِنْكُمْ بِأَنْفُسِكُمْ قَالُوا اللَّهُ وَ رَسُولُهُ قَالَ فَمَنْ كُنْتُ مَوْلَاهُ فَهَذَا عَلِيٌّ مَوْلَاهُ
وَ هُوَ صَاحِبُ الْعَبَاءِ وَ مَنْ أَذْهَبَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ الرِّجْسَ وَ طَهَّرَهُ تَطْهِيراً: وَ هُوَ صَاحِبُ الطَّائِرِ حِينَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ص اللَّهُمَّ ائْتِنِي بِأَحَبِّ خَلْقِكَ إِلَيْكَ وَ إِلَيَ فَجَاءَ عَلِيٌّ فَأَكَلَ مَعَهُ
وَ هُوَ صَاحِبُ سُورَةِ بَرَاءَةَ حِينَ نَزَلَ بِهَا جَبْرَئِيلُ ع عَلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ص وَ قَدْ سَارَ أَبُو بَكْرٍ بِالسُّورَةِ فَقَالَ لَهُ يَا مُحَمَّدُ إِنَّهُ لَا يَبْلُغُهَا إِلَّا أَنْتَ أَوْ عَلِيٌّ إِنَّهُ مِنْكَ وَ أَنْتَ مِنْهُ فَكَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ص مِنْهُ فِي حَيَاتِهِ وَ بَعْدَ وَفَاتِهِ
وَ هُوَ عَيْبَةُ عِلْمِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ص وَ مَنْ قَالَ لَهُ النَّبِيُّ ص أَنَا مَدِينَةُ الْعِلْمِ وَ عَلِيٌّ بَابُهَا وَ مَنْ أَرَادَ الْعِلْمَ فَلْيَأْتِ الْمَدِينَةَ مِنَ الْبَابِ كَمَا أَمَرَ اللَّهُ فَقَالَ وَ أْتُوا الْبُيُوتَ مِنْ أَبْوابِها
وَ هُوَ مُفَرِّجُ الْكَرْبِ عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ فِي الْحُرُوبِ وَ هُوَ أَوَّلُ مَنْ آمَنَ بِرَسُولِ اللَّهِ ص وَ صَدَّقَهُ وَ اتَّبَعَهُ وَ هُوَ أَوَّلُ مَنْ صَلَّى فَمَنْ أَعْظَمُ فِرْيَةً عَلَى اللَّهِ وَ عَلَى رَسُولِهِ مِمَّنْ قَاسَ بِهِ أَحَداً أَوْ شَبَّهَ بِهِ بَشَراً.

Who is foremost with you all than you are with yourselves? ’ They said, ‘Allah-azwj and His-azwj Rasool-saww! ’ He-saww said: ‘So the one whose Master I-saww was, this Ali-asws is his Master! ’
And he-asws is a companion of the cloak, and one Allah-azwj has Kept the uncleanness away from him and Purified him-asws with a Purification, and he-asws is companion of the bird when Rasool-Allah-saww said: ‘O Allah-azwj! Bring me-asws the most beloved of the people to You-azwj and to me-saww’. Ali-asws came and ate with him-saww. And he-asws is companion (deliverer) of Surah Al Bara’a when Jibraeel-as descended with it unto Rasool-Allah-saww, and Abu Bakr had already travelled with the Surah. He-as said to him-saww: ‘O Muhammad-saww! No one should deliver it except you-saww or Ali-asws. He-asws is from you-saww and you-saww are from him-asws. So, Rasool-Allah-saww was from him-asws during his-saww lifetime and after his-saww expiry. And he-asws is a receptacle of the knowledge of Rasool-Allah-saww, and the one to whom the Prophet-saww said: ‘I-saww am the city of knowledge and Ali-asws is its door, and one who wants the knowledge, the let him come to the city from the door, like what Allah-azwj has Commanded, so He-azwj Said: and come to the houses from its doors; [2: 189]. And he-asws is the remover of the worries away from Rasool-Allah-saww during the wars, and he-asws is the first one to believe in Rasool-Allah-saww and ratify him-saww, and follow him-saww; and he-asws is the first one to pray Salat. So, who is of the greatest fabrication upon Allah-azwj and upon His-azwj Rasool-saww than the one who compares anyone with him-asws, or resembles a person with him-asws’’. [132]
