جا، المجالس للمفيد مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْحُسَيْنِ الْمُقْرِي عَنْ جَعْفَرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ الْعَلَوِيِّ عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ هَاشِمٍ الْغَسَّانِيِّ عَنْ إِسْمَاعِيلَ بْنِ عَيَّاشٍ عَنْ مُعَاذِ بْنِ رِفَاعَةَ عَنْ شَهْرِ بْنِ حَوْشَبٍ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ أَبَا أُمَامَةَ الْبَاهِلِيَّ يَقُولُ وَ اللَّهِ لَا يَمْنَعُنِي مَكَانَ مُعَاوِيَةَ أَنْ أَقُولَ الْحَقَّ فِي عَلِيٍّ ع سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ص يَقُولُ عَلِيٌّ أَفْضَلُكُمْ وَ فِي الدِّينِ أَفْقَهُكُمْ وَ بِسُنَّتِي أَبْصَرُكُمْ وَ لِكِتَابِ اللَّهِ أَقْرَؤُكُمْ اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أُحِبُّ عَلِيّاً فَأَحِبَّهُ.
(The book) ‘Al Majaalis’ of Al Mufeed – Muhammad Bin Al-Husayn Al Muqry, from Ja’far Bin Abdullah Al Alawy, from Yahya Bin Hashim Al Gassan, from Muaz Bin Rifa’at, from Shahr Bin Hawshab who said, ‘I heard Abu Amama Al Bahily saying, ‘By Allah-azwj! The place of Muawiya will not prevent me from saying the truth regarding Ali-asws. I heard Rasool-Allah-saww saying: ‘Ali-asws is your superior in the world, the most understanding with my-saww Sunnah, the most insightful of you, and of the Book of Allah-azwj, the most well-read of you all! O Allah-azwj! I-saww love Ali-asws, so love him-asws! ’’[88]
